My God dam was killing me! Do you ever feel like you are suffering from spiritual stagnation? I have so been there. I had a dam blocking me now from the flow of the fresh Living Water that I longed to drink from. I was swimming in a cesspool of resentment, unforgiveness, self-hatred, loathing, depression and fear. I had to find a way to break my God dam if I was going to live in my own head, to let love come in and flow from my heart. That's where Gems from G.O.D. comes in. These poems are some of the gems God gave to help me get into the heavenly flow... So, let's break the God dam and get in the flow together. It's time to Rise and Shine. What others say..."Greg's poems have been an inspiration to me. I've had many changes in my life and his poems have given me purpose and direction. Greg has uplifted many while skillfully communicating some of life's bittersweet verities. He speaks from the heart and has a God given talent which he shares with many. Love you Mr. Wooley! Keep up the good work!" Louise Hawthorne"When reading the words that Greg Wooley has written there is something magical that happens. Peace and reassurance are two words that come to mind. Thanks Greg" Anna Reed"There have been many times that I have read a poem from Gregory and it just seems to be so heart felt yet I feel as if I could relate in so many ways. When rain comes to the parched African savanna, the animals use all their senses to track the storm. The porcupine smells rain in the air. The zebras see lightning. The baboons hear thunder. The rhino feels the first drops. And the lion tastes the cool water. For a time, the grasslands abound with new green leaves, juicy fruits, and fresh pools of water. But soon the hot sun dries out the land, and the animals must again wait for the next big rain.Manya Stojic's picture book debut is as satisfying and refreshing as the rain she describes. With paintings that are exuberant and saturated with color and a simple text that rolls off the tongue with pleasure and ease, here is a book parents and teachers will enjoy sharing again and again.

Now in paperback, this funny, poignant, and revealing picture book has all the vitality and wit of a Steig classic. Ages 2+
