Understanding the movement to be dynamic and highly diverse, this book reveals that ecclesial and political conflicts, especially over Peronism and celibacy, were at the heart of the construction of a liberationist Christian identity, which simultaneously internalised deep tensions over its relationship to the Catholic Church. It first situates the rise of a revolutionary Christian impulse in Argentina within changes in society, in Catholicism and Protestantism and in Marxism in the 1930s, before analysing how the phenomenon coalesced in the late sixties into a coherent social movement. Finally, the book examines the responses of liberationist Christians to the intense period of repression under the presidency of Isabel Peron and the rule of the military junta between 1974 and 1983. By exploring these distinct responses and uncovering the heterogeneity of liberationist Christianity, the book offers a fresh analysis of a movement that occupies a major role in the popular memory of the period of state terror, and provides a corrective to narratives that depict the movement as monolithic or as a passive victim of the dictatorship.

This is an unique "smart" travel guide, which I made at first to be solely used in my own, after buying so many travel guides and still feeling - they aren't good enough for my adventures to explore wilderness as a biologist and wildlife photographer. The book contains 60 GPS coordinates of important to know places, 35 website links, covering about 20 different the most spectacular sightseeing locations at the Peninsular Valdes and around, it has a detailed wildlife map, and over 20 photographs I made in March-April 2017. The book describes all specific photographic seasons when wild animals can be sighted: e.g. when orcas, killer whales, can beach themselves in order to catch sea lion pups, or when is the best to see Magellanic penguins or fighting "beachmasters" of gigantic Elephant seals with intruder male seals, or when and where is the best to be to witness Southern Right whales coming very close to shores with their calves vocalizing and breaching out of peninsula's waters. Zuerst wurde im Kapitel zwei erläutert, welche seiner ursprünglichen Ziele und Aufgaben der IWF immer noch wahrnimmt und wie sich diese in den letzten 70 Jahren seit seines Bestehens verändert hatten. Kapitel drei untersuchte die geschichtlichen und wirtschaftlichen Fehlentwicklungen des Landes im 20. Jahrhundert und ihr Weg in die Krise 2001. Kapitel vier und fünf bildeten die Schwerpunkte der Arbeit, in denen einerseits die Ursachen, Hintergründe und Auswirkungen der wirtschaftlichen und politischen Fehlentwicklungen näher betrachtet wurden, die schließlich 2001 zum Staatsbankrott führten und andererseits wurden die politischen, wirtschaftlichen, sozialen und gesellschaftlichen Folgen, der vom IWF vorgeschlagenen Strukturanpassungsprogramme eingehender betrachtet. Im letzten Kapitel ging es darum, ob es unter den derzeitigen wirtschaftlichen und politischen Bedingungen möglich ist, dass Argentinien in nächster Zeit abermals in eine solche Krise, wie jene von 2001, schlittert.

Abschließend folgt eine Untersuchung der deutschsprachigen Kolonie in Buenos Aires. Weiters folgt ein kleiner Exkurs über die Auswanderung österreichischer Offiziere nach dem 1. Weltkrieg von 1918-1920.
