This monograph is devoted to various aspects of term rise and operation and to general terminology assessment as a field vocabulary and as an independent discipline. It is stated that application of statistical and analytical methods takes into account natural features of the objects of study, including terminology and linguistics in general. The basic lexical semantic relations in the Ukrainian physics terminology (polysemy, homonymy, synonymy), are studied, where relevant comparison with the English and German physics terms is carried out. It is shown also that there are a number of objective reasons for synonymy emergence in the Ukrainian physics terminology and in terminology in general, where it is expedient to distinguish the formal and contentual synonymy. The semantic distances between synonyms, homonyms, and polysemants were estimated that has practical value for automatic separation of these. The borrowings in Ukrainian as a linguistic and terminological problem are studied on the basis of etymological, comparative, morphosemantic, and acoustic phonetic analysis. An analysis of Greek sources studying etymology of the word ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ (English ¿chemistry¿), is carried out.

The Ottoman culture and literature had a great influence on the culture and literature of the Bosniaks, because the Ottomans ruled these areas for over 400 years. In addition, Islamization brought with it the Arabic language, both orally and in writing. Therefore, many Bosniak writers at that time also wrote in this language. Nevertheless, Bosniak culture and literature have their own identity and characteristics, which are different from the Ottoman/Turkish.

The Zlatostruy anthology stands out for its uniqueness ¿ so far, no Greek collection has been found to be named as its primary source. The present study focuses on Zlatostruy of the 12th century. The main purpose is to describe and comment on the moral and cultural life at the time the collection was composed. It is attempted to accurately outline the picture of the world at that time, showing the characteristics of the social model and the social ideal of the medieval Bulgarian society from the end of the 9th and the beginning of the 10th century. The book is for everyone who is interested in the problems of the Slavic-Byzantine society. Being written in an accessible and clear language, the book can be used by a wide range of readers who are interested in the everyday life of the medieval Christian.

Mit der polnischen Romantik verbindet sich ein Paradigma der ,Tat', das den Freiheitskampf und die aufständische Tradition Polens im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert grundlegend prägte. In Debatten über nationale Identität und in politischen Polemiken wirkt es bis heute nach.Die neuere polnische Literaturwissenschaft hat dieses nationale Dispositiv der Romantik immer wieder als Risiko für die geistige und künstlerische Eigenständigkeit der Literatur beschrieben. Die vorliegende Untersuchung zum Zeitraum zwischen 1848 und 1945 entzieht sich sowohl einem (politischen) Werturteil über den Aktivismus als auch einer Reduktion der Literatur auf ihre mobilisierende Funktion. In drei Fallgeschichten wird stattdessen das poetische Potential des Aktivismus selbst ausgelotet: Die Poetiken des Dichters Cyprian Norwid (1821-1883), des Kritikers, Philosophen und Romanschriftstellers Stanislaw Brzozowski (1878-1911) sowie der Untergrund-Literaturzeitschrift Sztuka i Naród (1942-1944) sichten die utopisch-aktivistischen Entwürfe der Romantik kritisch und entdecken sie als künstlerische ,Handlungsspielräume' wieder. Die innovative Verschränkung von Poetik und Ideengeschichte ermöglicht dabei konzeptuelle Unterscheidungen und Verfeinerungen, die mit Blick auf aktivistische Kulturen der Gegenwart von hoher Aktualität sind.

Die vorliegende Publikation vereint auf empirischer Basis theoretische und praktische Perspektiven auf das Marketingübersetzen für die Automobilbranche im Sprachenpaar Deutsch-Polnisch. Die differente gesellschaftlich-kulturelle Entwicklung sowie Diskrepanzen im Automobilbau in beiden Ländern stellen den interlingual-interkulturellen Transfer deutscher Marketingtexte ins Polnische vor besondere Herausforderungen. Die Analyse der Übersetzungsprobleme erfolgt am Beispiel der Marketingtextsorte Kundenzeitschrift in Anlehnung an den funktionalen Ansatz der Translationswissenschaft. In die wissenschaftliche Beschreibung integriert die Autorin das berufspraktische Konzept der Transkreation, das in die modellhafte Darstellung dieses translatorischen Bereichs einfließt.This publication combines, on an empirical basis, the theoretical and practical perspectives on marketing translation for the automotive industry in the language pair German-Polish. The different sociocultural development as well as discrepancies in the automotive industry in both countries pose special challenges for the interlingual-intercultural transfer of German marketing texts into Polish. The analysis of the translation problems is carried out using the example of the marketing text type customer magazine, following the functional approach of translation studies. In the scientific description, the author integrates the professional-practical concept of transcreation, which flows into the model representation of the interlingual-intercultural transfer of marketing texts.
