Urban Voyeur – New York i ord og billeder er er et foto- og essay-bogprojekt skrevet og fotograferet af Bibs Carlsen. Bogen indeholder omkring 300 fotos og 30 essays på dansk, set fra en nysgerrig betragters perspektiv. Alle har hørt om New York. Mange har været der, og millioner bor her. Byen synes at gøre indtryk, selv på afstand. Den forekommer at have en næsten mytologisk status i folks bevidsthed. Det har forfatteren fået bekræftet igen og igen. København før og nu – Byen fra skyen er en tidsrejse i billeder og tekst af en by i konstant forandring. Mens nogle ændringer sker hurtigt, sker andre langsomt over tid, hvilket især bliver tydeligt, når byen ses fra oven.Fotografen Nicolas Cosedis har været på jagt i arkiverne efter de bedste luftfotos af København fra de sidste 100 år. Formelt uddannet læge er Ebbesen interesseret i krydsfeltet mellem kunst og videnskab. Hendes studier af psyken, sanserne og kroppen ses i mange af hendes værker fra sønderrevne ansigter og forvredne nøgne kroppe til selvportrætter og stilleben. Ebbesens værker er blevet udstillet flere steder både i Danmark, Europa og USA, og hun har arbejdet for magasiner som Vanity Fair og Vogue. Bogen udgives med støtte fra Fotografiska Museum Stockholm i forbindelse med en stor soloudstilling af serien fra den 23. februar til den 12. maj 2024.
