As we watch the tender feet take steps independently out of the laps into the real world, have we ever wondered, if those tender feet require any special care to grow healthy? As the child outgrows a footwear earlier than the footwear wears out, we are happy to house the child¿s foot in footwear passed from one child to the other. It is common to see toddlers wearing shoes with pointed toes or small heels because the same ¿are in fashion¿. However, all this can be detrimental to the soft and supple feet of the child. The book aims to design and develop toddler¿s footwear using innovative and multiple design research tools. It addresses a very important facet of ¿Designing and Manufacturing Comfort footwear for toddlers.¿ Through the research, the author has been able to successfully develop scientific footwear for toddlers which can help them attain a gait in shod conditions, close to their natural gait and is aesthetically appealing. An attempt has been made to show how human centric approach used in this research can incorporate a broad range of findings for understanding toddler¿s preferences and to provide a premise for future researchers to adopt innovative research methods.

One of the known reasons for construction projects failure is missing to achieve the target work at the time specified in the scheduled time of baseline , and this can be caused because of the fragility of creating of the schedule time plan of the project, because of determination a particular time period for each part of the project that far a way and less than reality. And this attributed to eliminating weather changing effects on labors in site. So, according to these Effects, we concentrated in this book on measuring the shortage in amount of work done by labours to help submitting realistic schedule plan.

Baliospermum montanum Muell (Danti) root, which is sold in the name of ¿Danti mulä by drug dealers in the market is one of the most recommended drugs reported to be used as a purgative due to its oleo resin and starch contain. Medicinal plants like Danti (Baliospermum montanum Willd); root, Vacha (Acorus calamus Linn.); rhizome, Vriddhadaru (Argyreia speciosa Sweet.); seed, Hingu (Ferula foetida Bioss.); exudate, Kampillaka (Mallotus philippensis (Lamk.) Muell-Arg.); fruit and Guggulu (Commiphora mukul);gum resin etc. have not been categorized under poisonous drugs in API, still they have been recommended to pass through the specific shodhana (processing) process before internal administration. According to ayurvedic principle, drug act as a whole, they are more attached with synergistic approach due to the presence of various primary and secondary plant metabolites other than modern science reductionist approach. On the other hand, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) encompasses acquisition of a large number of absorbencies in a spectral region typically ranging from 1000 to 2500 nm, where organic matter has distinct spectral fingerprints related to functional groups.

Unlike other packaging titles, which simply provide templates to copy, this book enables designers of all packaging types to create 3-D packaging forms that are specific to their needs rather than based on an existing design. It teaches a simple 'net' construction system- a one-piece 2-D configuration of card seen when a 3-D package is opened out and flattened - which enables the designer to create a huge number of very strong 3-D packaging forms that are both practical and imaginative. Each chapter concludes with photographs and net drawings oF 6-10 creative examples of packaging designs made using the principles outlined in the preceding chapter. Structural packaging gives the reader an understanding of the underlying principles of packaging construction and the technical knowledge and confidence to develop a greater number of their own unusual and innovative designs than any comparable book.

The rapid change in global energy demands and the environmental problems caused by fossil fuels have resulted in the need of solar energy which becomes a potential solution and one among the most popular renewable energy sources. Solar power is also utilized in areas where standard power supply is not available. But, due to the variations in the climatic conditions, tracking of Maximum Power Point (MPP) is difficult. The PV modules always supply a maximum power as possible as dictated by surrounding operating conditions and to make sure that a particular circuit identified as Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) is engaged. Hence, to improve the efficiency of the PV energy system, it is required to follow the MPP of the solar array. A DC-DC converter is used as an MPPT in most of the applications which is controlled through a scheme that imposing the operation point of PV module on the MPP or nearer to it. The modern development in solar power system is to spotlight on the PV battery powered backup system in order to satisfy the essential load demand.

International migration between Nigeria and her neighbours has been a source of concern in the formulation and articulation of diplomatic and foreign policy of the nation. The porosity of Nigerian borders has made it possible for unwarranted influx of varying categories of migrants from neighbouring states to enter the country either legally or illegally from such countries as Cameroon, the Republic of Niger, Chad and Republic of Benin. This research tries to explore the profile of migrants, the process of migration between Nigeria and her neighbours which are mostly francophone and also to explore the diplomatic and security consequences and impact of such cross-border migrations. It argues that insecurity, Islamic fundamentalism and declining degree of good neighbourliness may be partly attributed to the cross-border migration phenomenon of Nigeria and its francophone neighbours. The work concludes that cross-border migration has fundamentally altered the structure of the Nigerian environment with important implications for population growth rates, business, diplomacy and security.

Information and communication technologies, (ICT) in education, according to recent and past research, can motivate and engage students and promote knowledge. In this study the researcher attempted to identify the outcomes of the an in service training course on ICT pedagogy for the primary school teachers. He focused on the teacher- trainees¿ acquisition and promotion of ICT pedagogic practices and competencies in classroom instruction through an emphasis on any observable changes in the profiles and practices of the teacher-trainees during and after the course as well as the elements of the training that may have supported these changes. Arising from the findings it is argued that change can be associated in particular with the trainer¿s collaboration with the trainees in their classroom practice, identification of their diverse profiles, tailoring of the training methods to the identified profiles as well as the selection and implementation of specific ICT tools adapted and modified to the educational and historical context, culture, infrastructure and environment of the teachers.

Land can not be increased as per the demand, this leads to design of taller buildings so that the floor area can be increased and the land use can be minimized. A taller building requires even more stringent and safer norms for design to avoid any catastrophe. To analyze and design such type of structure, we should concern about the methods of the consideration.National codes should lead a designer, to conclude the reliable methods. Seismic code is one of them. The code is reviewed after any major incident and for any new structures it will come under consideration. In the past earthquakes the satisfactory design analysis has been by Equivalent Static Method. However, the method does not satisfy all the requirements of tall buildings. The Response Spectrum analysis is from the actual earthquake records and has been developed in the single diagram to be much easier to handle than other methods in practice. However, the effects of infill walls either masonry or reinforced are not really valued ,as they are, by designers or building contractors. In recent different earthquake magnitudes in Iran it is seen that the infill walls have main catastrophic fatality than the other causes.

World Wide Web emerges as a global information source that evolves rapidly every day, but information in today¿s Web applications cannot process easily by machines because of huge volume and a problem of accurate search engine. In the real world, highly erudite and efficient search engines are not able to bridge this gap. In cloud computing environment, there is an increased need for integration, collaboration and sharing data between heterogeneous systems. To cover this gap, i have given an idea of interoperability and ontology. Interoperability is an ability to interconnect, accomplish different programs and to transfer data between different components in a system. Ontologies generation is related to the retrieval of ontologies structure such as capture the structure, relationships, semantics and other meta information from web applications. In this book, i have used an autonomous framework which is able to establish application interoperability.

While I was discussing with the western seekers, I found that their knowledge about Bharat, the great country and its virtues is insignificant and rather based on wrong premises. The present attempt is to show how the wise in this country introduced and modified the codes from time to time to guide the people in righteous path irrespective of their faith and belief. Many think that Hinduism, the misnomer for Sanatana Dharma is confined to the post Vedic scriptures and to dispel this wrong notion, I have explained the Vedic guidance to tread on a path of spirituality choosing one's social and cultural mix correctly. This work is an attempt to explain the matter that is revealed and unwritten, the matter that was presumed and codified later and the various rituals. Its goal is to introduce the true spirit of Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) to westerners to enable them understand that it is not a religion but a set of principles that anybody can follow without deviating from one's faith and belief and to start the critical thinking process in them. May the Dharmic principles guide us to the path of wisdom like the sacred light and fragrance of the incense, the flowers and the mother earth!

The purpose of this study is to provide a rich description of the role of languages, especially indigenous languages in the secondary curriculum in Bangladesh. Through this research I seek to identify the role of mother languages in education. Bangladesh has a centrally designed curriculum that does not focus on minority languages. Though tribal languages are not included in both the intended and operational curriculum, it affects the classroom teaching practices as well as the tribal students¿ life. As the instructional language is Bangla, the cultures, identities and past experiences of the tribal students are not valued in daily classroom learning activities. Drawing on an understanding of curriculum as a tool for the social control of knowledge, I show how the secondary language curriculum promotes social inequality by the intellectual domination of Bangla and English over less prestigious tribal languages by not including indigenous languages, culture and values.
