In present study author analyzed the harmful effect of the industrial wastes in Siltara industrial and adjoining areas of Raipur (CG). Thirty different samples of water were collected from the industrial area Siltara which is contaminated by the industrial wastes. The Author has analyzed the physical and chemical properties of the collected samples. It was found that the water is contaminated with the higher risk levels and different measures need to be taken to purify it, and it is not safe for the drinking purpose.
