Hvedekorn 3, 2023, indledes med nye digte af Caspar Eric som et akut flyvebladstillæg til hans pågående inderlige og yderlige, yderst fortjent bestsellende digtsamling Nye balancer fra foråret. Caspar Eric er stadig en ung digter, men tid og generationerne løber nådesløst hurtigt i Hvedekorn, hele 19 år yngre er Manon Amalie Bøgeskov, som debuterede heftigt talentfuld i nr. 2, 2023, og i sit bidrag til det nye nummer ikke er til at standse, hun stormer frem med den intrikat vildskab. Nummeret bydes desuden på gode, suverænt gearede gensyn med savnede, yngre veteraner som Sarah Elise Bruun, Ingrid Nymo, Sophia Handler og Anders Gamst Skov (alle, undtagen tidligt debuterede Sarah, stjerner i Hvede-antologien Flasher mine tranebærmund, 2018, som Caspar også stjernede i – at bidrage til Hvedekorn er at blive medlem af en evig poetisk konspiration).Meget andet skønt af nye og erfarne folk, og fx bare også Anne-Louise Bosmans’ klare, både mørke og lyse adskillelsesdigte.Illustrationerne er farvestærke, kraftfuldt grove figurationer af oversete Hilda Wanscher (/1887-1973).Bogstaveligheden lever, med vinger på sin haltende fod!
