NY OG OPDATERET UDGAVE Adolf Hitlers selvbiografiske manifest Mein Kampf - her i en opdateret dansk udgave under titlen Min Kamp, er et af de væsentligste dokumenter til at forstå personen og skabelsen af det tredje riges rædselsregime. Formålet med bogen var at fastlægge udviklingen og målsætningen for det Nationale Socialistiske parti, som bliver en realitet i 1925. Adolf Hitler blev født den 20. april 1889 i Østrig, flytter til München og deltager i 1. verdenskrig på tysk side. Herefter går han aktivt ind i politik og leder bl.a. et mislykket kupforsøg i München i 1923. Som følge heraf fængsles Hitler i 1923 - i fængslet skriver han bogen "Min Kamp / Mein Kampf". Bogen første bind giver læseren et indblik i Hitlers barndom, opvækst og kunstnerdrømme, hans tid i Wien og hans oplevelser under og efter 1. verdenskrig. Andet bind er en politisk proklamation om hans idéer om staten, racer og nationen. Hans beretning dækker over hans omvæltning af Det tyske arbejderparti, samt hans synspunkter om jøder og politiske bevægelser. I bogen slutning viser han sine visioner om fremtidens Tyskland. "Min kamp/Mein Kampf" indeholder begge bind af værket. Værket bidrager til læserens historiske forståelse for hvordan Hitler tænkte, hans evner til at forføre en hel nation - ligesom den giver et indblik i hans politiske skarpsind. Hitlers bog har en mission ud over tid og sted og bidrager til fordybelse og agtpågivenhed.
