The Ṛgvedādibhāṣya Bhūmikā composed by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati (1824-1883) as an introduction to his commentary on the Vedas works as a lighthouse for the study of the Vedas. If one tries to enter the domain of the Vedas without going through this great work, he can never understand the importance and real import of the Vedas. This work is the foundation of the Vedas which clarifies many misconceptions, misgivings and several other issues connected with the study of the Vedas.
