This book has been produced to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Gloucester Rugby and includes details of all of the 5156 matches (3106 won,1706 lost and 344 drawn) played by the Club from the very first on 4 October 1873 up to the end of the 2022-23 season. It also includes a summary of every season and team photographs for most seasons. The contributors to this book are all trustees of Gloucester Rugby Heritage, a charity run by volunteers and supported by Gloucester Rugby, the Gloucester Rugby Foundation and Gloucestershire Archives. This book is the last in a series of five, previous volumes having recorded the history of the Kingsholm ground, representative matches played there, Gloucester Rugby in cup competitions, and Gloucester Rugby players.
Join Stell and her team - the Mighty Hammers - as they try to navigate being young, free and single in a bustling London. Oh, and they play rugby too. Well, not "proper" rugby, as according to them, they are just a "social" team, which traditionally involves as much drinking, bad behaviour and as many romantic liaisons as they can fit in before the next match. Well, that's what they thought at the start of one memorable season...Written by Milton Stephens, ex-rugby player and coach, Don't Let Them See You Cry tells the story of Stell and her friends' personal development over the course of a year where, through collective will, sheer bloody-mindedness and a determination to NOT BE TOLD who they should be, they finally confront many of the issues in their personal relationships that they never even knew they had. As well as getting to smash, both on and off the field of play!"

Published to coincide with the 2023 Rugby World Cup, in conjunction with Rugby World, we have taken on the task of selecting the World's greatest ever players It's customary when choosing all-time greats from a cast of thousands to say how difficult a task it is, and how you're unlikely to agree the selection in Rugby Legends. Both those statements are true, of course, and certainly we have agonised over numerous positions. Fly-halves Johnny Sexton and Adrian Stoop, a tactical innovator, played a century apart to a staggering standard, yet neither makes our list. You could make a case for a raft of excluded Springbok forwards, from Hennie Muller to Eben Etzebeth. And how about Neil Back, described once by Austin Healey as the world's best player for many years. But there are only ten slots per position, with wings, locks and centres lumped together, so something has to give. We make no apology for our choice of 120 male and ten female players, each of whom are indisputably masters of their craft. At the back, we have whittled down our legends to an ultimate XV. We hope you enjoy this tribute to the great players and gain a few insights into the skills and character.
