World-renowned psychic and bestselling author of End of Days Sylvia Browne turns her psychic wisdom to the puzzling, often contradictory predictions proposed by major historical and contemporary figures, ranging from Biblical prophets, to Nostradamus, to President George Washington, to NASA scientists.Sylvia Browne, the psychic who offered eerily accurate predictions of our current days, examines what the future holds for us in this guide to the most famous-and notorious-prophetic voices throughout the ages. Browne offers a clear and fascinating vision of the world as it will be from five years into the future to five hundred, with a startling and revealing look into the future of our nation and our world-and a beacon of hope and inspiration in these uncertain times."I've personally witnessed Sylvia Browne bring closure to distraught families, help the police close cases, and open people's hearts to help them see the good within themselves."-Montel Williams
Over the past four centuries, Nostradamus's predictions have proven startlingly accurate. Long before their actual invention, mechanical devices such as the periscope, the submarine, and the airplane appear in accurate detail in the great seer's journals. Other passages foresee Napoleon's conquest, the Bolshevik Revolution, the rise of Hitler, and countless events yet to come. The French occultist won extraordinary fame in his own lifetime, curing thousands in the plague years by unorthodox remedies. He published his first collection of prophecies in 1555, and had composed 1100 quatrains by the time of his death. Stewart Robb's concise translation selects Nostradamus's most lauded prophecies, tracing their symbolism, anagrams, and mythological allusions. Robb's scholarly expertise elucidates every facet of these remarkable writings which remain eerily insightful to this day. Prophecies on World Events remains our potent and vital companion as we enter the twenty-first century.
Have you ever had an old tune pop into your head, only to turn on the radio and hear it being played? Or think of someone you haven't seen for years, only to answer the phone and hear that person on the line? Is it coincidence or is it something more? If you have ever wondered if you might be psychic, this book may hold the answer to this most intriguing question. As you will see, everybody has some psychic ability. For some people, the ability might be as mild as intuition; for others, it might be as strong as mediumship; but it all falls under the category of that "sixth sense." Are You Psychic? is a fascinating and revealing look at our extrasensory powers.Author and professor of parapsychology Dr. Hans Holzer explores all the various forms of the psychic experience-foretelling the future, interpreting psychic feelings, thought transference, and past-life memories, among others. He explains, in clear and understandable language, what they are, how they work, and what you can do to develop your own inner abilities. He delves into the history of psychic abilities; discusses the psychic experiences of dreams, déjà vu, and out-of-body experience; and shows how natural healing can be a form of the human psychic ability. Throughout the book, Dr. Holzer gives examples of real-life psychic phenomena that illustrate how these powers work-and demonstrate that they are very real. If you are one of those people who have had their fair share of those "funny coincidences," maybe it's time to find out more. Maybe it's time to answer the question you have asked yourself a hundred times-Are You Psychic?

For the late psychic Edgar Cayce, the aura provided a pictorial representation of an individual's health, thoughts, talents and life potentials as well as karmic lessons and even past lives. In a very real sense, the aura functions as a barometer of the whole self - body, mind and spirit. Psychic, Carol Ann Liaros and Cayce expert, Kevin J. Todeschi have joined together to present a unique volume that teaches you to access your intuitive self in order to see these auras and colours and then goes on to explain their meaning as based on the well-documented readings of Edgar Cayce. Their work explores colours and the human aura in a way that provides practical tools for understanding that can be applied in your own life right now. Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) is the most-documented psychic of all time with 14,306 readings archived at the chrity foundation he founded in 1931. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of books have been written about and inspired by Cayce and his readings, but only one was actually authored by the psychic himself and that little best-selling book, Auras: An Essay on the Meaning of Colors, is included in this volume.
