Für den Auszubildenden sind diese Fertigkeiten und Kenntnisse, die hierbei erlangt werden sehr wichtig, damit er selbstständig und mit ein gewisses Maß an Eigenverantwortung arbeiten kann. Dieses trägt einen großen Teil an Motivation und Eigenständigkeit bei.

"The Life and Reconstruction of the Pat II" is an historical account of a boat's journey across New York state from 1924 to 2021. The Pat II has been a U.S. Mail Boat, a tour boat, and a reconstruction project for boat-builders in Hammondsport, NY. The Finger Lakes Boating Museum took ownership of the boat in 2014, reconstructing her to her former glory. She now is a flagship for the Finger Lakes Boating Museum, giving tour rides to passengers on Keuka Lake since 2021. This is a story about new beginnings, community, and historical preservation.
