Bag om Bustle & Sew Magazine November 2014
The Bustle & Sew Magazine is not your average newstand read. Rather it's more of a mini-book full of goodies designed to appeal to everyone who loves to create lovely items for home and family. Inside you'll discover a collection of six new Bustle & Sew projects as well as features, articles, a round of of online goodies, baking - and even a poetry corner. It's so much more than just a sewing magazine, we believe it's a Jolly Good Read too! The Bustle & Sew Magazine is the work of just two women - Helen Dickson, the founder of and creative force behind the Bustle & Sew bunny and her daughter Rosie who's recently joined the team! So if you're expecting a glossy high-street publication, stuffed with adverts and promotions, then this probably isn't the magazine for you. But if you enjoy quirky, unusual and fun sewing projects, all with Helen's unique style, and enjoy filling your home with beautiful ideas, then you're sure to love the Bustle & Sew Magazine. Here at Bustle & Sew we believe that it's extra-nice if your work is useful as well as beautiful, so we're always looking for new ideas to put all your lovely stitching to good use. This month sees our first-ever lampshade design (we're sure there'll be more to come), and a pair of beautiful embroidered bookends featuring the letters A and Z. But don't worry - if you'd like to embroider an initial for a loved one, we've included templates for all the other letters as well as an ampersand in case you'd like to stitch a pair! Then there's the cutest little reindeer, an interview with Peonie Cole, lots of lovely ideas to make your home beautiful and much more besides. There are images of all the projects on the front of the cover so you can see at a glance what's inside. Remember - the Bustle & Sew Magazine is an independent stitching and home magazine that carries no advertising at all - every page is full of content for you to enjoy. It's also available as an eMagazine over on the Bustle & Sew website - where you'll find lots more stitchy goodness to enjoy. You can keep up to date with all the goings on in Devon where Helen lives with her two Newfoundland Dogs, Daisy and Ben - there's never a dull moment! Visit www.bustleandsew.com to learn more.
