He rises to the vision in the three day uprising of the democratic reformers, August 19th to the 21st, of 2001, in taking his T 72 tank to stand with them at the barricades. In taking his tank to defend the Russian freedom demonstrators, he is followed by others, who turned the tide in front of the Russian Parliament, known as the Russian White House, in fulfilling his mother's vision of a resurrected Mother Russia who rises in three days from its Soviet tomb.
