The Great Commission of Christ to His Church was given by Christ to win the world of lost souls to Him. As Christ was sent by the Father, He also commissioned the Church in an equally important task to seek and save that which is lost. However, He did not just send the Church with a message of salvation. He equipped the Church by furnishing it with the power of His Holy Spirit who would help them in their task of world evangelism.
