Despite spending most of her school days being told off for staring out of the window, Mary found that it helped her to develop a vivid imagination which she could then use in her writing.
Mary has enjoyed developing her skills over the years with creative writing and poetry and is delighted to have her first book published as part of the Pen to Print Book Challenge. Mary has had poetry published in "The Great British Write Off" The Royal Society of Literature's Newspaper.
She is a guest page editor for the Pen to Print Write On Magazine and has had several poems published by Pen to Print. She runs a small poetry Stanza "The Barking Foxes" which is affiliated to the Poetry Society. She lives in Essex with her husband Denis. She has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
