They sent Kai in too soon as well. Our lives are filled with chaos and we're constantly fighting to live. Everything changes when Kai and I are attacked by several bear-octopus monsters called Polyursas. Created by the Shade, they are nothing more than pawns in the Games, the same as the rest of us. And then I'm captured by one of the other contestants. He says he wants to help and that he can show me the truth about myself. But I'm not sure who to believe, and time is running out.
