The email came the night before: There would be no school today.
With Mama busy working from home and not enough time to plan a playdate or an outing, Em, is left with a very tempting option: several blissful hours of digital distraction-and they couldn't have been more thrilled.
But just as Em settles in for a relaxing day of screen, something mysterious and mischievous, furry and feline arrives, sending their perfect plans right out the window-literally!
