This book you are reading is an extension of The Discipline of the Disciple since it records some of my journey in living out its principles. Writing this new book was suggested to me by a mutual disciple with whom I partner in Bible studies at senior facilities around McKinney. I would never have thought of writing this book to share my experiences in being a disciple and in making disciples. But he encouraged me to pray and consider it, and I realized that often a new idea I never would have thought of on my own, is actually a God idea. This idea of sharing my discipleship experiences came to him in a dream which he shared with me.
