In summer, I often take a cup of jasmine tea and feel the freshness thoroughly. Meanwhile, read some beautiful summer poems from many thousands or hundred years ago, and appreciate the poets' thinking, feelings, imaginations, creativities, the way they use words in composing their poems. I am glad that these poems have passed on from generations to generations until today, and they bring me lots of wonderful moments as I read them.I put these verses into my paintings to show my love of the poems and to pay my high respect to the poets.

Autumn turns all green leaves into colorful reds, golds, and oranges. The trees by the streets and corners look as if they are on fire, raging fires. They burn and light up the grey sky.

The flowers are here waiting Not too early not too late, just right Your brilliant smiles are blooming Your magnificent dances are swaying My frozen heart be warming

Vancouver in Summer is still a world of flowers, an ocean of flowers, and everyday there is a grand party of flowers. Everywhere there are overflowing of vitality and activities. Summer in Vancouver let you feel like this kind of hot, lively, and bustling life will move on and on forever.
