Andrew Jackson Davis is one of the most prestigious clairvoyants from the early years of the American Spiritualist movement. As a young man he experimented with a new medium called Magnetism (Hypnosis) and whilst he was in a trance his friends were amazed to find that he could pass on messages from the spirit world. Andrew Jackson Davis has travelled further than any other man into the spirit spheres and enthrals us with tales of the Summerland and what awaits us after our bodies have out lived their time. This compendium of work covers most of his main themes and has been retyped from an original scan to restore it to it's full glory once again. If there are any profits from this book then they will go to providing wells in Africa.
A digitally re-mastered spiritual classic. 'Andrew Jackson Davis vibrated from one extreme in external life to the utmost verge of the other; while, interiorly, he swept through a vast, rich field of doubt-dispelling investigation.' The Magic Staff -contains Andrews own description of his early life.
This rare book has been digitally re-edited from a facsimile reprint of the original. Much care and attention has been spent bringing the book back to it's original glory. The scanning process always introduces errors but as far as we know we have managed to find the majority and fix them in this edition. If you are an Andrew Jackson Davis fan, or you are new to the author, then this is his masterpiece. This work was produced whilst he was under hypnosis and the gems therein comes direct from the Fountain of Knowledge. Davis was a young uneducated man at the time of producing this book and it's contents and style are far beyond anything he could have produced. He was a remarkable man, as you will find out from the Introduction.
