Die Münchener Texte und Untersuchungen zur deutschen Literatur des Mittelalters (MTU), seit Band 102 beim Max Niemeyer Verlag, machen bisher nicht oder ungenügend erschlossene Texte, Stoffe und Gattungen zugänglich. Neben höfischem und Heldenepos und der Lieddichtung des Hohen und Späten Mittelalters sind vor allem auch Prosaschriften des weltlichen und geistlichen Bereichs, vom theologischen Traktat über die Mystik bis zum Spiel und zur Sachliteratur aus der mittelalterlichen Alltagswelt vertreten.Die Auswahl der publizierten Werke besorgt ein internationales Gremium von Mediävisten verschiedener Disziplinen.

Intelligent information processing has become one of the key issues on our way to a knowledge society. Recent research has led to exciting advances in technologies that will shape our future. Knowledge-based systems have matured to provide services in a well-founded ontological framework, and intelligent knowledge management can be supported by tools that are ready for practical applications. Intelligent Information Processing presents new research with special emphasis on knowledge-based system architecture and intelligent information management. This volume comprises the proceedings of the Conference on Intelligent Information Processing (IIP 2002) held in conjunction with the 17th World Computer Congress, which was sponsored by the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP) and which convened in Montral, Qubec, Canada, in August 2002. The conference represented a major activity of IFIP Technical Committee 12 (Artificial Intelligence), Working Group 12.5, which is dedicated to `knowledge-oriented development of applications'. This Working Group brings together an international community of scientists concerned with the use of knowledge-based techniques in the engineering of real-world software systems.

This two-volume set constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th European Conference on Computer Vision, ECCV'98, held in Freiburg, Germany, in June 1998.The 42 revised full papers and 70 revised posters presented were carefully selected from a total of 223 papers submitted. The papers are organized in sections on multiple-view geometry, stereo vision and calibration, geometry and invariances, structure from motion, colour and indexing, grouping and segmentation, tracking, condensation, matching and registration, image sequences and video, shape and shading, motion and flow, medical imaging, appearance and recognition, robotics and active vision, and motion segmentation.
