Bob Wright, who lives in Texas, has been writing poetry and encouraging other poets for some 40 years. He founded and for several years hosted the events of two poetry societies in upstate New York and one in Florida. He has been a featured reader and conducted poetry workshops at various colleges, bookstores, libraries, and cultural centers.

As I sit here, looking at the statue I had placed over the grave of Rebeka, it takes me back to the days of turmoil in my life. It was late in the eighteen-hundreds, and life has changed so much that I'm not the same person that I was back then-very happily married with two kids, a boy and a girl, whom I love deep in my heart, and my spirit rides with them no matter where they go.
