The present study is an attempt to develop and empirically test the conceptual framework that makes real sense of comparing price-quality-brand image-value relationship and ultimate satisfaction in the product market. The Thesis comprised of six chapters and each chapter is introduced as follows:

More than 58 percent of the Indian population isemployed in the agricultural sector. In India, agricultureaccounts for 15 percent to 20 percent of the gross domesticproduct. Agricultural inputs in organic farming consist offarm manure, natural pesticides, growth regulators, andlivestock additives rather than synthetically compoundedfertilizers, pesticides, growth regulators, and growthregulators.

Growth and development of financial markets andinstitutions are not only the source of prosperity of thenation but also provide an extensive opportunity to citizenof the country to have more variety and more avenues interm of effectiveness and efficiency of financial services.Over the Eighth to the Eleventh five year plan so far - an18-year period that coincided with the structurai andfinancial sector. reforms process - the average rate of GrossDomestic Savings (GDS) increased by around 14percentage points. This was higher than the increase ofaround 11 percentage points in the GDS rate that occurredover the First to the Seventh Plans, a period of around 40years. The maximum increase (of round 8 percentagepoints) in the average GDS rate occurred over the TenthPlan (2002-2007) as per reports of planning commission,government of India. Before that the decade of the 1990smarked the initiation of wide-ranging structural reformsand financial liberalization. Globalization, liberalization and privatization are the three most spoken words in today's world. These initiatives paved way for all-round reforms, especially in developing economies, like India. The growth of the telecom sector in India during post-liberalization has been phenomenal. This research aims to throw light on the factors that contributed to growth in the segment and presents an insight on the present status of the industry.

Currently, the student community is crucial to theeconomy's future. In order for society to thrive and grow,students play an important role. The purpose of HigherEducation is to educate and mold students to becomeresponsible citizens. It is important for Noordin and Jusoff(2009) that the teaching faculty play a vital role in thesuccessful conduct of the education system. India's economy is still heavily dependent on agriculture and agriculture-based industries. Rural economies are heavily dependent on the dairy industry. The demand for dairy products is increasing as milk is the most essential and nutritious food item. As most Indians consume milk regularly, India ranks second in dairy production next to the USA.Besides being the world's leading milk producer, India is also one of the world's leading milk consumers.

Capital market plays an important role in the development of an economy and is an integral part of financial system. In the capital market, the manner in which securities are priced is core issue and it has attracted the attention of researchers for long. The risk-return relationship performs a pivotal role in pricing of securities consequently helps in making judicious investment decision making. The capital asset pricing model (CAPM) of Sharpe (1964), Lintner (1965) and Mossin (1968) marks the birth of asset pricing theory. In the development of the asset pricing model it is assumed that:

The government is focusing increasingly on renewableenergy around the world. The country's energy portfolioshould address climate change and the costs associated withconventional energy. Despite being the most powerfulsource of energy on earth, the sun is also the mostunderutilized. Clean, environmentally friendly solar energyis available. There are no toxic by-products or emissions,and it is renewable and cannot be consumed at a faster ratethan it can be replenished. In order to meet the waterheating needs of a family, solar power systems are effectivein harnessing the sun's energy.

Recent years have seen an increasing importance given tothe development of women. To make development moremeaningful, inclusive growth is needed that encourageswomen's participation in various spheres of life.In many parts of the world, women's status is significantlydespondent. Further, the millennium development goals havebeen hindered by extensive gender inequality.Several Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), includingeliminating poverty, reducing infant mortality, achievinguniversal education, and eliminating the gender gap ineducation by 2015, have been argued as prerequisites toachieving gender equality, according to Kofi Annan, UNSecretary General (United Nations, 2005). The World Bank(2001) recommends policy changes to address genderinequality in "rights, resources, and voice" in its report,"Engendering Development.

Spirituality in general and in the workplace in particular has received heightened attentionnot only in the popular press but also in the business and management literature and inresearch (Fry, 2003; Gotsis & Kortezi, 2008; Kolodinsky, Giacalone, & Jurkiewicz, 2008;Konz & Ryan, 1999; McLaughlin, 1998; Pawar, 2009a). The phenomenon of connectingspirituality to work has now become a part of the popular culture. Evidences of workplacespirituality have become a significant movement and can be easily found (Conlin, 1999;McKee, 2003). Garcia-Zamor (2003) stated that over 300 books on workplace spiritualitywere in bookstores in 1999 which in 2001 captured a niche market of $2.2 billion (Lewis,2001). Some examples of such books are: A Spiritual Audit of Corporate America(Mitroff & Denton, 1999a), Liberating the Corporate Soul (Barrett, 1998), Spirit at Work(Conger, 1994), The Soul of Business: Managing for Profit and the Common Good(Chappell, 1993), Leading with Soul (Bolman & Deal, 1995), and The Heart Aroused:Poetry and Preservation of the Soul in Corporate America (Whyte, 1994). Aburdene(2007) in her latest book, Megatrend 2010, stated that the presence of spirituality inbusiness has become so pervasive that it is the greatest megatrend of this decade. Further,

Due to the emergence of globalisation, the outsourcing has become one ofthe widely accepted business strategies (Felix & Shale, 2016). In the recent past,most of the firms have outsourced its diversified business operations with theultimate aim of enhancing their service and product quality, to reduce productioncycle, time lag and reduction of costs (Cooke et. al., 2005). The outsourcing alsofacilitates to focus on the core competencies of a firm which also highly influenceon the organisational effectiveness. Thus, firms can be focused on the set of limitedfunctions and outsource other business activities to outsiders who are specialists inthe respective field (Delmotte & Sels, 2008). This strategy paves the way to focuson the core business activities for attaining competitive advantage and outsourcingof low-value-added activities to other firms (Hirschhorn & Gilmore, 1992;Ulrich, et al., 2008).

The relationship between working capital and profitability plays a very important role for the long-term survival or growth of the company. Hence, it should be managed efficientlyto ensure thWorking capital is one of the most complicated factors of any business organization. In general, working capital represents the difference between current assets and current liabilities. But this numerical difference is not suitable for making effective managerial decisionin the present scenario. Therefore, the different components of working capital should be examined very critically, so that the importance of each component is taken into account in determining the working capital.Part of the current asset which is financed by long term liabilities is working capital. As working capital is the difference of current asset and current liabilities, which implies the current assets is financed by two sources. Some portion of current assets is financed by current liabilities and the remaining part of the current asset is financed by the long term liabilities. The cost involving for maintaining current liabilities is much lower than raising long term liabilities.
