We become cosmic criminals when we sin against the empowering power of grace, limiting God. Grace can be defined as the divine influence of God upon our hearts. As it flows, we are then able to tap into God's limitless (cosmic) powers and we become unstoppable; that is, until God's grace is disrupted. Then, it becomes a case: a legal process that must be litigated by scripture. And, because cosmic crimes carry cosmic ramifications, they affect our divine destiny. That is, they inhibit our ability to access the grace needed to crucify fleshly wisdom. We are thus confined to the natural, sight realm--where we lean to our own understanding. In this book, you will find seven processes that keep us in the grace of God. Each process shows a unique facet of God's grace that is available and how certain influences hinder its flow.More importantly, you will see that when grace is received, destruction is averted. However, when it is not received, devastation is inevitable. You will also find, throughout this book, select scriptures that I refer to as: God's Alerts. These are scriptures that depict a directive from the Lord: an instruction telling us what, why, and how a particular virtue is to be performed. These scriptures are designed to keep us on course. What: refers to the wisdom of the scripture. Why: gives us its understanding How: is the knowledge; it tells us how the scripture is to be applied. Each alert ends with a commentary on the thoughts and intents of God's heart that can be seen when wisdom, understanding, and knowledge function as a whole.
Carolyn Chambers' The Cosmic Criminal is a seminal work in the area of grace. Readers will learn how grace, the most powerful force in the universe, has been unduly hindered by contaminating influences; robbed of its power.Let face it, we are all affected by the ebb and flow of grace. Grace can be defined as the divine influence of God upon our hearts. As it flows, we are able to tap into God's limitless (cosmic) powers and we become unstoppable. However, when it's disrupted, it limits God. Then, it becomes a cosmic case--a legal proceeding that must be litigated by scripture; and the person then becomes a cosmic criminal.According to Mrs. Chambers, the cosmic criminal is convicted by his own convictions. These convictions limit the empowering power of God and relegate the offender to a victim mentality; having succumbed to perception, doubt, unbelief, or fear.Continuing, "To overturn his conviction, requires a positive response to an instruction that is contrary to his own thoughts, and the willingness to stand. This in turn, enables the individual to possess his possessions." Using case studies, "The cosmic criminal' showcases seven, fail-proof, processes of grace that are sure to bring seekers to know God's will for their lives.
Heaven is looking for joy. Without joy, we have no strength; without strength there is no presence of God, and our prayers are hindered. The flesh, our animal nature, uses care to attack our joy. Moreover, when we are in the flesh, we can't bear up under pressure. But, unlike animals, we have a choice. We can choose to cast our care; and when we do, we are in the spirit, then all of heaven will work on our behalf; and our prayers are unhindered.
