The Book of Isaiah is the most quoted of all the Old Testament books in the Bible. Complex in structure and as powerfully intriguing in its prophetic vision as it is in its poetic imagination, this first book of the Old Testament prophets is a continual treasure trove of spiritual insight in to the nature of YHWH, and our relationship with Him .One can never be " through" with the study of this book of scripture! All we know of Isaiah's life is through his ministry that spanned the reigns of 4 kings, from his calling in the last year of the reign of Judah's King Uzziah, around 740 BC, living until the death of Sennecherib in 681 BC. What we see is Isaiah's calling out of God's people in the midst of their sin and rebellion against The Most High, the forewarning of His judgments upon them and the nations for their sin, and to the remaining faithful remnant who, if they would put their trust in Him alone, put away their idols and fear no man, YHWH, through Isaiah, proclaimed the of hope of restoration and the future of God's people under who he referred to as the coming Suffering Servant, who we understand was/is fulfilled in the person of Christ Jesus, the Messiah, our Redeemer King!
