Leona was content to be a widow until she met Lloyd. He was a gentleman, kind, thoughtful and fun to be with. Only one thing bothered her and that was when he explained his will. However, things didn't always turn out as she wanted them to. There were problems that Charlie never dreamed would happen to her.
Gerald was upset because the chief of police wasn't investigating his father's death. Some one had shot him and the chief just ignored anything Gerald said and sent him on his way. It made him think that the chief was crooked and in with the wild gang that had invaded their town. Well if the chief wouldn't investigate than he would. Gerald started his investigation and was watched by people who knew all about the shooting.
