Today, technology is one part of our lives. It has affected every single aspects of human being, their tasks, daily chores and other fields. As for teaching English, through years technologies helped to improve the knowledge of students by using simple and entertaining contents. Additionally, this process is continuing in today¿s world. To be equal with today, most foreign language teachers are trying to come up with new methods or the way of teaching in terms of advanced technologies.

Distance learning refers to any education provided without the teacher and students being physically present together. In overseas, highschools and universities offered correspondence courses as a method of distance learning. Distance learning also called distance education, e-learning, and online learning, form of education in which the main elements include physical separation of teachers and students while instruction and the use of various technologies to facilitate student ¿ teacher and student ¿ student communication. Distance learning students are different from traditional students, as these students include in a full time position, foreigners, individuals who are from remote regions that they do not have any access to attend lectures.
