Bullying is recognized as a public health problem that affects as many as one in three school-age children. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention bullying is defined as a repeatedly unwanted aggressive behavior that transpires through strength and power imbalances. The aggression can be portrayed as verbal, electronic (cyberbullying), relational, or physical. This Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) synthesis project is an evaluation of the company instituted evidence-based screening process at the Complete Healthcare Services (CHS) -Silsbee clinic of all adolescents ages 10- 17 years of age for the early identification of victims of bullying.
