A laundry room is usually a safe place but not at Starcrest Apartments, Building D. It's all Jack Hayes' fault, he lives there with his family and a serial killer stalking Jack wants his attention so he kills in the laundry room.

He fell in love with her from the first time he saw her when he was just 13. They spent the summer together. They were just across the alley from each other. The summer ended much too soon and hw had to go back home to his parents farm in Iowa. They had promised to write each other but being kids that was soon forgotten. They grew up and had forgotten about the feelings they had had at 13. His parents had moved to Illinois and he had came with them even though he was just weeks from leaving for the Army. they reconnected, she was everything he ever wanted. He asked her to marry him because he was going away to Basic Training in a few weeks and she agreed. But life sometimes gets in the way. Kids came and things got rough between them.

Two people on the run. One from the law and the other from life meet in an abandoned sugar mill factory. They eventually fall in love and discover that there is a child killer in town and they decide they have to stop the killing.

He had been bullied all his life from his relatives to the kids at school, but now was time for revenge. His dad had died, a great day as far as Vinnie was concerned, but at least the old man had passed his old Army 45 to him and Vinnie could hardly wait to learn to use it. His mom signed him up for lessons on how to shoot and his instructor found that he had discovered a marksman. Vinnie could hardly wait for the chance to make thing even with his tomentors.

Our friend Jack from Sugar Mill Road comes starts a roofing company and on one of the houses he and his crew are hired to work on they discover a body. Jack comes back to his home town with his now wife Candice after being pardoned for murder is in Jack's neighborhood and he is determined to find the killer.
