""My poetry comes from a dark place, but it translates into many forms that give an itinerary to those who walk on similar paths. As a child I loved fairy tales, but as I grew, I realised that happy ever after did not represent in the form I had believed in. Indeed, was there really a happy ever after at all? I am given expression to voice what I see, to tell it like it is but to also find hope. It's about using the darkness to give out great light. It's about sitting and listening; pondering situations and looking for answers. This work is about something more, it's about the hope we may not see but the lessons that lead us to that place. It's a journey, a quest, it's expression. It's me.""
