Surfboards that are alive? Drummers who call waves? Get barreled and transcend time and space with the masters of Shallow. A secret group of surfing monks, who are a society of environmentalists, hail from the twelve water planets. Honoring a sacred oath to keep the water planets in this quadrant of the universe alive, the monks build a temple on Earth to protect it's precious oceans from being stolen and shipped to another planet. The sinister villain, Ontez Neuron, "Destroyer of Mars," and his cronies, thirsting for further destruction, arrive on Earth. So full of life, it offers Neuron a chance to satisfy his hunger for conquest. The monks will have to be at their best to expose the evil Ontez Neuron. Find out the truth about vampires when you meet, Ven-Ra, dominator of the last living clan of vampires from the terrorist planet, Jam-Bo. Meet the "Wavecallers" a mystic troupe of drummers that summon gigantic ocean swells. Transcend time and space with the masters of Shallow, on living surfboards, aptly named "Travelers." This potent mixture of contemporary legend and ancient myth slide together seamlessly into a time when the sport of surfing was re-inventing itself during "the golden age of surfing." Four Southern California surfers witness a caravel from the 18th century come roaring out of a cloud break set, south of the border, down old Mexico way. They meet John Moore and Louis Heart along with John's orphaned nephew, Sydney, who are on a quest to find Moore's friend, Lt. Philip Carder, who unbeknownst to them, has been kidnapped by Ontez. They search for the Temple to warn the monks of Shallow about the evil villain, Ontez Neuron, who will make a bid to become master of planet Earth.
