I noted the success Fly by Wire Drones were having in destroying Al-Qaeda Terrorists in Pakistan and Yemen. This book is based on your author's knowledge of fly by wire aircraft and information obtained by sifting thru Internet information. There has been a true revolution using Fly by Wire and Dither Adaptive techniques in all new flying machines. The aircraft of today use nanotechnology computers and sensors for the software in private aircraft, military fighters, and airliners.

Consumed with the desire to regain Mainland China (the Peoples' Republic of China), the leaders of the Republic of China (Taiwan) plan to build a super-advanced fighter aircraft/rocket and use it to destroy the Chinese leadership during a military parade when they will all be sitting in the same reviewing stand. After an unsuccessful attempt to obtain assistance from the US, the Taiwan intelligence agency sends an agent, Eddie Chung, to the US to recruit the aid of an American aircraft designer, Randy McLyle, and his beautiful associate, Patricia Manos. These two talented engineers agree to immigrate to Taiwan when offered ten million dollars for their super advanced design which had just been rejected by the US Air Force as being "too far out." Love blooms between test pilots, intelligence agents, political leaders and aircraft designers from China and from Taiwan as plots thicken and patriotism grows.

I have used my experience in Options trading to select the best Options for potential trading. I have available Options trading software for these best 4 Sustainable Energy companies with stock Options. I tried to find companies with weekly options, but I could only find companies that have monthly options expiring the 3rd Friday of each month.

On this day 22 March 2013, my son David, the software programmer who designed the software for the Mars Rover, introduced me to Ruby on Rails which he said would allow me to develop complex interactive websites for promoting my Weekly Options Trading Software. I have an existing Website promoting my options trading software and books. After learning about Ruby on Rails as a means for creating an up to date options trading website, I decided to use Ruby on Rails which uses the Ruby program language. The purpose of this book is to define Ruby on Rails and provide a step by step procedure of how to create a new website or how to update my old website into a modern website. The beauty of the RR method is it is easy to update a website as often as is necessary to keep up with the changes in the markets caused by the battling between the Administration and Congress in Washington DC. During my quarter of a century of options trading, I have never seen such instability on Wall Street caused by Washington. I have found it necessary to modify my software and strategies and tactics to continue making a profit with Weekly Options Trading. These strategies and tactics are discussed in this book.

The US Stock Market collapsed on Thursday, 6 May 2010 when the Dow Jones Index spiked down over 1000 points in a matter of a few minutes. Such a world market sell caused by a true Cyber attack could destroy the wealth of billions of people around the globe. This book will examine what Cyber Attacks could do to the civilized world, which grows more dependent on the Internet functioning properly to perform all of the complex tasks that need to be done every day.

If we can send manned missions to the Moon then a manned mission to Mars is feasible. Preliminary work for missions has been undertaken since the 1950s, with planned missions typically taking place 10 to 30 years in the future. Your author learned about the details of the Mars Mission from the Curiosity Program Director's lecture at Caltech. The last Space Shuttle was launched and recovered in 2011. We need a replacement for the shuttle. NASA devised a program called ORION as a shuttle replacement. Your author had served as a technical advisor to the Space Shuttle and as a result he was invited to witness the first Space Shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center on the east coast of Florida in 1970. The reason your author could help the Space Shuttle designers was because he had served as Chief Engineer of the F111 which used the same IBM airborne computers as were adapted for use on the Space Shuttle. Much of the Space Shuttle software was obtained by modifying the F111 software to fit the Shuttle requirements. The "Orion" Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) is a planned beyond-low-earth-orbit manned spacecraft that is being built by Lockheed Martin for NASA based on designs and tests already completed as part of the now-cancelled Constellation program, development for which began in 2005 as the Crew Exploration Vehicle. The MPCV was announced by NASA on 24 May 2011.

In mid 2011 the US finds it has a huge multitrillion dollar public deficit. This deficit grew to a level approaching the Gross Domestic Product which relatively speaking was challenging the debt reached during WWII when the debt exceeded the GDP. As I attempted to quantify in this book, the huge increase in public debt was caused by two very long wars: the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war, which was the longest war the US has ever waged. In 2008 the US economy entered into the deepest recession it has seen since the depression starting in October 1929 and lasting until WWII (1941). This 21st century recession caused revenues to diminish greatly. Huge bail out programs were necessary to save large US banks and manufacturing companies. Also the USG made expenditures to help that segment of the population most affected by the recession such as the unemployed and Senior citizens needing health care to stay alive. These factors caused the Public Debt to mushroom to the large size the US congress and administration in Washington worked so long to try to reduce. Their perceived lack of problem solving skills caused uncertainty in the financial markets which resulted in huge plunges in the stock market and the downgrading by one credit rating agency (S&P) to reduce the US's rating from AAA to AA+. This event resulted in a huge sell-off in the stock market and a big rise in the cost of Federal Bonds. This book attempts to present the happenings in a logical fashion so the reader can understand the severe strain it placed on the American citizens and financial system. The political struggle over raising the debt limit will intensify as the new 12 man Super Committee takes on the challenge of lowering the public debt. While polls show voters angry over the debt, and politicians support a goal of paying it down, the two principal deficit-reduction plans would merely restrain its growth for the next decade. Congress "would have to enact policies that would produce a surplus," with money left over to begin retiring debt, said Robert Bixby, executive director of the anti-deficit Concord Coalition. The last government surplus was in 2001. For one to occur in the future would require "Republican spending policies and Democratic tax policies," Bixby said, referring to GOP calls for deep program cuts, and Obama's support for higher taxes. "Right now (before the debt crisis) the two parties haven't been able to agree on those kinds of changes." The increase in debt woven into their budgets is not a fact that Obama Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., chairman of the House Budget Committee, or any other official chooses to trumpet. The president and most lawmakers generally avoid saying directly that government debt will rise if their budget prevails - although they are careful not to claim it won't, either. Instead, they use similar, vaguely reassuring terms

Your author felt the Washington Political Battles were preventing anything from being accomplished in Washington DC. I found out other Americans like me had the same views of the Washington Problem when I attended my wife's High School Alumni meeting and my Caltech Alumni meeting in May 2013. I heard men and women at both alumni meetings saying over and over again: - Can't these elected officials in Washington get anything done? - It appears these elected officials feel no obligation to solve the problems of the country. - They appear to believe we elected them to point fingers at each other rather than do what they are supposed to do. I have tried to find out what is happening in these Washington Political battles by researching the Internet. In this book I tried to present what Washington IS doing instead of their responsible jobs.

Your author decided to write this book about DNA Chemistry after being invited to a Caltech Associates dinner to hear a speech by Professor Jacqueline Barton, a leader in the study of chemistry of DNA by the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Department at Caltech where she is Chair of that department. I have included in this book research I discovered taking place after investigating the Internet. As Professor Barton stated in her Associates lecture, DNA can be damaged in the double helical DNA. She and her Caltech research associates are using a base of sensors they design to find where the DNA is damaged and is in need of repair to avoid cancerous mutations. The purpose of this book is to use the Internet to explore what is happening in DNA Chemistry Research. I find much research is taking place and it is exciting to find out about the impact on Human Health in the areas of Cancer and Alzheimer's Disease. We examine in detail what is happening in the areas of DNA damage detection and what is being done to repair the damage.

It was announced on 4th July 2012 that the Higgs boson had been discovered in the CERN particle collider in Geneva, Switzerland. Scientists at the world's biggest atom smasher hailed the discovery of "the missing cornerstone of physics", cheering the apparent end of a decades-long quest for a new subatomic particle called the Higgs boson, or "God particle," which could help explain why all matter has mass and crack open a new realm of subatomic science. As the technical findings were announced by two independent teams involving more than 5,000 researchers, the usually sedate corridors of the European Center for Nuclear Research, or CERN, erupted in frequent applause and standing ovations. Your author became interested in Gays living together when one of his sons married his live-in Gay-Mate. This Gay Love book is organized as follows: Four fictional gay tales telling about gay love experiences: 1. An MIT graduate who meets his Love Mate in a Boston Gay Dance hall. 2. Two Caltech Alumni who decide to try Gay Love when they became widows 3. A gay man who was seeking Gay Love in a Gay Bath house, but settled for gay love with a Coffee Shop Owner after he closed up shop. 4. A Manager and his Assistant working on a US project in Iran during the days of the Shah when their car was almost hit by a Terrorist Car Bomb. Their Gay love sessions were to relieve tension while they stayed in the Tehran Hilton Hotel. The book also reviews the legal status of US Gay Marriages, the history of Gay Bath Houses, and describes Gay Sodomy techniques. There are two Appendices: 1. Where to Meet a Gay Love Mate 2. Your Author had an Open Heart Surgery at UCLA to repair a defective heart valve and the blood veins nearby. A local cardiovascular MD recommended I have the surgery and to have the operation performed by experts at UCLA in Los Angeles. I called UCLA to talk to a surgeon who had done the surgery before. This operation was performed by a Professor-Surgeon who had done a number of similar heart operations. I explained my problem to him and he studied my records from my home town. He agreed I needed an operation and promptly set it up in two weeks. Since it was late December 1013, I would be in the UCLA hospital during Christmas 2013. I accepted the date and gave it to my wife for planning our schedule. In the years before the operation I had been walking four miles a day along a wilderness path adjacent to the river in Lompoc, CA. I was nervous about the operation and I was about to cancel the surgery when some four days before the scheduled date I lost my energy and was unable to perform the daily 4 mile walk. I could barely walk around the block. So I decided to continue with the surgery appointment. I'm glad I did because I feel much better now. Four months after the surgery I was able to walk four miles along the River Path with the aid of a deluxe walker complete with hand brakes and a seat for rest-stops during the four mile walk.

The political finger pointing in Washington DC is becoming more vicious and is causing wide daily movements on Wall Street. Perhaps such finger pointing has always existed, but with the instantaneous news stories on the Internet of such political behaviour in Washington it has become easier to observe. Being an Options Trader using the CBOE (Chicago Board of Exchange), I find this finger pointing is affecting the Wall Street Stock Markets. It appears that Congress is unable to get anything done, such as logical ways to reduce the huge national deficits and rational ways to fund the health care needed by all citizens. The lack of confidence in the US Government is causing the US markets to be unstable with large daily jumps and drops of the Wall Street markets. And since the Wall Street markets impact the European and Asian Markets, it affects the Global Economy. This book attempts to document the effects of the lack of confidence in the US Government on Global markets with emphasis on the major Indices of Wall Street.

Your author attended an Alumni Seminar day in 2013 at USC (University of Southern California) where he had received his PhD and taught as an adjunct assistant Professor in Computer science. He received two lectures in person, but both lectures could have been sent by internet as part of Global Education. In that way registered students worldwide could have received the same lectures either in realtime or downloaded using encoded files. Both of these USC lectures were of fascinating topics, but such lectures could be made on a large number of subjects spread out over time to satisfy the requirements of the University in which the student is enrolled. The purpose of this book is to describe how the Internet age requires a vast revision of the University Education System on a global basis. The book will give information on things that can be done and how to do these things to achieve Global Education. Global education means the students can live anywhere and can be enrolled in Universities anywhere and be lectured by the best. One could postulate that, for example, the university of the future will have no library because students will carry it in their pockets; and that there will be no classes, as adaptive, interactive, computer-taught sessions will have taken their place. Lectures will be provided, courtesy of distance learning, by a few world-class professors located around the globe. The University of Arizona offers website degrees so you can live anywhere on Earth and earn website degrees with this university. This book also provides information about Website degrees in the US, Asia and Europe. The rating of the University offering the website degree is important in obtaining a job. So it may be easy to use the University of Arizona for an advanced degree, but earning a degree from a higher ranked university may be worth considering.

I decided I needed to write this book on Weekly Options trading to see what tactics could be used for the small options trader to combat the volatility caused by Algorithmic trading executed by the big traders such as Banks and Mutual Funds. In 1986 I began Trading Options using Naked Index Spreads with a simple algorithm: Sell Call Options 2 standard deviations (2Sig) above the market and sell Put Options 2Sig below the market. The Initial Credit received for these naked spreads was placed in my broker's trading account. If the market remained less than the Call strike price and greater than the Put strike price at Options Expiration on the third Friday of each month, then the Initial Credit became my profit for the Month for Monthly Options. I now prefer to have less capital at risk so I use covered options trades. When Weekly options became available, I switched to using 2sigma Condors: I sell call options 2 sig above the market and buy call options one strike price higher and simultaneously I sell put options 2 sig below the market and buy put options one strike price lower. The 2 sigma distance above and below the market had a 90% probability of staying safe. In other words you had a 90% probability that your Initial Credit would become your profit at expiration. This is if trading were a random process. For many years this simple 2Sig algorithm worked and your capital grew steadily. However the introduction of sophisticated computer actuated Algorithmic Trading Systems caused distortion of the Global stock, futures and currency markets. Now we saw huge market movements. Sometimes when some financial news was flashed, the market jumped or dropped by more than 2 sigma in one day. It was the second largest point swing, 1,010.14 points, and the biggest one-day point decline, 998.5 points, on an intraday basis in Dow Jones Industrial Average history. Wall Street banks and brokers are pouring over their trading systems and rethinking the way they test software to make sure they don't become the next Knight Capital Group, the trading firm whose survival was imperiled by a software glitch on Thursday, 1 August 2012.

Your author decided to write this book about Anti-Aging Research when he began to see stories on Internet that Humans will be living much longer in the near-term. For example one story was how Rich People will live to be 130 years old. Another story told how DNA can be modified to allow Humans to live forever, The purpose of this book is to use the Internet to explore what is happening in Anti-Aging Research to make humans live much longer. I find much research is taking place. I think it is exciting to find out about the impact of these studies to greatly extend lifespans. We examine in detail what is happening in the areas of DNA studies which may greatly extend life expectancy; if not forever at least for much longer than in 2015 (when a person reaches 100 years old he or she is old and decrepit.)

My oldest daughter acquired a bankrupt company which was making illuminated signs for Fast Food companies and converted it into a successful company. She gave me a tour of her company and I was impressed with the number of new orders her company was receiving. This was a strong indication of the active growth of Fast Food Franchises in the global economy. I decided to write this book about how to acquire franchises from fast food chains and how to operate them at a profit. By searching the Internet I found out an Investor-Operator, by spending from $10,000 to $100,000 or more, could acquire a FFF (fast food franchise) and operate it as a successful small business in a short period of time. I also realized that if you did not have the capital available to acquire the FFF, that you could use my Options Trading Software to start with $2000 capital and build up your investment capital to the amount needed to acquire the Franchise you wanted to buy. Your author decided to write this book about the Big Bang & Black Holes after attending a Caltech Associates dinner in which Dr. Sean Carroll gave a dynamic talk entitled: The Origin of the Universe and the Arrow of Time. During his lecture Dr. Carroll mentioned the Baby Universes concept of Stephen Hawking, a theory described in this book.

Your author decided to write this book about Microrobots after seeing a news release by MIT about their research on Microrobots. Microrobots and other microelectronic devices were enabled by Nanotechnology first introduced by Professor Richard P Feynman who was a professor at Caltech while your author was a physics student earning the BS in physics there between 1947 and 1951. I started studying the pioneering research of Dr. Feynman after being reminded of his famous lecture titled: There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom. This discourse was presented at an American Physical Society meeting at Caltech on December 29, 1959. Dr. Feynman considered the possibility of direct manipulation of individual atoms as a more powerful form of synthetic chemistry than the techniques being used at that time. This became nanotechnology. Nanotechnology has made possible the many things we see in electronics now: the chips used in PCs, the advent of Laptop computers, mobile devices or Smart Phones such as Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Apple iPhone and Tablet Computers such as the Toshiba Thrive Tablet. And now the latest nanotechnology devices exemplified by Microrobots. These tiny devices will allow things to be done in the near future that could not be done before. This book will tell you about what is known about Microrobots at the end of 2013.

Your author became aware of Optogenetics Research when he received a Caltech Associates invitation to attend an evening lecture by Viviana Gradinaru, Professor of Biology at Caltech, on this subject. The description of Optogenetics is given below: Optogenetics is a neuromodulation technique employed in behavioral neuroscience that uses a combination of techniques from optics and genetics to control the activity of individual neurons in living tissue-even within freely-moving animals-and to precisely measure the effects of those manipulations in real-time. It was developed by Karl Deisseroth and his colleagues at Stanford University in 2006. Optogenetics is known for the high spatial and temporal resolutions that it provides, which allow for observation of individual neurons over a time course of milliseconds, but is primarily famous for its ability to precisely alter the activity of specific brain areas without directly affecting a subject's behavior. In 2010 Karl Deisseroth was awarded the inaugural HFSP Nakasone Award "for his pioneering work on the development of optogenetic methods for studying the function of neuronal networks underlying behavior." In 2010, optogenetics was chosen as the Method of the Year across all fields of science and engineering by the interdisciplinary research journal Nature Methods (Primer on Optogenetics, Editorial Commentary). At the same time, optogenetics was highlighted in the article on "Breakthroughs of the Decade" in the scientific research journal Science Breakthrough of the Decade; these journals also referenced recent public-access general-interest video Method of the Year video and textual Scientific American (SciAm) summaries of optogenetics. In 2012 Gero Miesenböck was awarded the InBev-Baillet Latour International Health Prize for "pioneering optogenetic approaches to manipulate neuronal activity and to control animal behavior."

Your Author decided to write this book based on his extensive Middle East travels augmented by the Internet View of what is happening in the Arabic countries during the first part of the 21st Century. There are chapters covering Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel (with emphasis on its interactions with Arabic countries), Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan (including background information on the war in that country). There is an additional Appendix which covers an Insider's View of the Arabic World. Included are some of the author's observations while working in Iran during the time of the Shah and before the ruthless people now dictating government in Iran became leaders. I recall the many highly intelligent and well educated people I knew while in Iran. Dr. Jon Schiller has authored 2 other books about the Middle East: "Masada never again", a fictionalized history of how Israel developed nuclear weapons "IBEX", a fictionalized history of an electronic surveillance system installed in northern Iran during the Cold War to spy on the Soviets.

Cosmology findings are increasing rapidly due to the new Research Tools available to astronomy scientists such as the CARMA (space array), the Hubble space borne telescope and others. I have been interested in Cosmology for many years and while I lived in Spain I used information collected from the Internet, once it became available, to give lectures on this subject to the English Speaking Group. This book is a summary of the latest cosmology research collected from the Internet plus information compiled after attending lectures at Caltech on cosmology research. One of the main thrusts of current cosmology research is searching for planets around nearby stars which may have life. The best telescopes when your author attended Caltech from 1947 thru 1951 was the 100 inch mirror in the Mount Wilson dome, later updated to the 200 inch mirror at the Palomar Observatory near San Diego. The new information about the cosmology is exploding at a rapid rate which I find exciting

I was made aware of the subject of this book while attending the Caltech Alumni Seminar on 21 May 2016 on campus. I missed the Seminar lecture but the subject sounded so interesting I decided to write a book about it in order to learn more about the subject. On 14 September 2015 there was a collision of black holes. It has been speculated for some time that two black holes can collide. Once they came so close that they could not escape each other's gravity, they could merge to become one bigger black hole. Even when simulating this event on powerful computers, we could not fully understand it. However, we did know that a black hole merger would produce tremendous energy and send massive ripples through the space time fabric of the Universe. These ripples are called gravitational waves. We have known of galaxies in which two super-massive black holes have moved dangerously close to each other. Theoretical models predicted that these black holes would spiral toward each other until they would eventually collide. Gravitational waves have been a fundamental prediction of Einstein's theory of general relativity. Detecting them provides an important test of our understanding of gravity. It also provides important new insights into the physics of black holes. Large instruments capable of detecting gravitational waves from outer space have been built in recent years. Even more powerful instruments are under construction.

I decided to write this book when my brother-in-law who was Colonel Navigator on USAF Number 1, the US President's Personal Transport Aircraft, sent me an email summarizing the many things going wrong in Washington, such as the inability to pass a much needed Gun Law. Congressmen are citing the US Constitution as reasons the law cannot be passed. Also Congress is preventing the President from doing his required executive functions because of their brinkmanship in approving Financial Matters needed for the US Government to function properly. Your author decided to write this book about Genome Mapping after attending a Dinner Lecture for Caltech Alumni living in the Santa Barbara County area of Mid-Coast California Dr David Barker, BS 1963 Caltech & PhD in Biochemistry from Brandeis University, gave a slide presentation on DNA sequencing and what it can tell you. In my quest for more knowledge about this exciting area of biochemistry, I sought more information about Genome Mapping and Entire DNA Sequencing from the Google and Yahoo search engines. As is common in Internet Research, I found a great deal of research was taking place worldwide. It was my objective to summarize this research in this book so my readers could learn what is happening and where to find more information about this important area of Biochemistry. One possibility is modifying your DNA to reduce susceptibility to certain diseases..perhaps we will be able to reduce our risk of cancer. One of my good friends died recently of Prostate Cancer, so my interest in combating Cancer has been intensified.

Your author decided to write this book about Dark Matter when observations from the CERN reported that evidence of Dark Matter, which consists of about 25% of the mass of the Universe, had been found early in the year 2013. I found there was a tremendous amount of research going on about the Cosmology of our Universe including such items as Dark Matter. I performed extensive research on the Internet of the research taking place to discover what Dark Matter is. When I was a student at Caltech for my BS in Physics and at USC for my PhD in EE, Internet did not exist. It is exciting that Internet makes it easy to transfer knowledge quickly and efficiently. Search Engines such as Google and Yahoo make it easy to research what is known about such matters as Dark Matter. This book presents what I learned about Dark Matter and what it is.

I became interested in writing this book when I began to become overwhelmed by stories of the terrorist acts of ISIS. It became apparent to me that the Western Mass Media was becoming the means ISIS was using to spread their propaganda of fear. The Paris attack by ISIS was a prime example of Mass Media reporting that aided the ISIS propaganda war. I realized that there was no way Mass Media could avoid this problem of aiding the ISIS propaganda war. The Free Press or Mass Media was something ISIS could use. Civilization needs Free Press. This book describes what a low level technician with a Top Secret Clearance (TSC) working for a company with a contract with the National Security Agency (NSA) can do by releasing to the news media the top secret material to which he had access. This technician told a UK newspaper after he ran-away to Hong Kong about a US surveillance program to combat terrorist threats to US targets and citizens. This technician did not have the overview of what was being done to combat terrorism, but a mini-view of what he was doing as a part of this program. After he left Hong Kong he took a flight to Moscow where he sought political asylum from Russia and several other countries. This story shows what the instantaneous spread of news by Internet can do in the year 2013. The Internet news is relayed immediately to global television programs. Snowden, the NSA leaker, hid in the Moscow Airport Transit Lounge in late June and early July 2013 waiting for political asylum to avoid extradition to the US. Many Americans are concerned about expanding government surveillance, particularly the practice of gobbling up vast amounts of data on people without a specific warrant. Greenwald's first report of Snowden's worries about widespread surveillance displayed that Snowden had a technician's view rather than a strategic view of what the surveillance was meant to accomplish. The simple fact of what happened is Snowden stole Top Secret information and disclosed the information to the general public.
