This is book about a man with MS who must learn to make light of his life to bring light to life. Josh got MS at the age of 28 and at that moment he was almost 400 lbs married, straight, and was in a dark place where he tried to commit suicide multiple times. But then he turned his life around and lost 200lbs, got a divorce, came out of the closet, and began stand-up comedy. This brought the light back into his life, gave him a platform to share his story and spread awareness about MS.Josh had a Majorly Special life already leading up to the MS. When he was a toddler, he puked on George Bush SR. When he was in school, he got rocks stuck in his ears and sent to the ER. That was one of the many times Josh was called a medical marvel. On another occasion, he got a rare form of mono on his honeymoon which led to him living on the couch for the first two months of marriage. He burnt down his first apartment with his ex-wife, and had a seizure while getting robbed but was saved by a broken plastic BB gun. In college, he was a real dummy and started a fight club. We all know the first rule of a fight club, but in this book, he talks about this and a lot of other stories throughout his life and shows the reader how there is no Murphy's law; its Lynch's law. You're going to wonder to yourself how all this could happen to one guy. So, get ready for Josh to be your short bus driver on this journey through his Majorly Special life.
