This book is actually inspired by our jail ministry. As I was talking to one woman, she expressed at the end of our time together that she was feeling bad for her past and all her mistakes. God took over my mouth at that moment and I heard myself say, "You have asked for forgiveness and God has granted it to you. You need to learn and grow so you don't make the same mistakes, but you should not feel guilty or condemned." As she walked out of the visitation room and back to her cell, she said, "I need to hear more about that." And I thought, "So do I, Lord. She is in jail. Why shouldn't she feel guilty and condemned? She is guilty!" And God replied, "She asked for forgiveness. There is no condemnation in Christ or in the universe that I created. Satan is the accuser, not me. I forgave her. She needs to forgive herself. She needs to ask forgiveness of the person she harmed. But it cannot come from a place of guilt. It must come from a place of love. She needs to know how much I love her. And then God told me to write about forgiveness. This book is that writing. I hope it helps you to learn to forgive and accept forgiveness. And get a new understanding of how much God loves you.

Teaching houses of worship how to support those with disabilities.
God loves it when you study his Word and get excited about a part of your faith. Your faith was designed to draw you closer to God and to draw others closer to God. When we become really narrow focused we can accidently lose sight of the others we are to bring along with us. Sometimes we dig in so deep into God's word, we become no earthly good. The title actually comes from a warning in Psalm 7:15 "whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made." I pray this book helps you enjoy studying the Bible while still maintaining a world focus that we are to be in unity with all other Christians and using our knowledge to draw others to God.
