Laehli is a young girl in Thailand who makes friends with the local elephants after finding a baby elephant stuck in the mud. Her friendship with this young elephant becomes the highlight of young Laehli's life. Oh and she happens to be deaf. This book proves love is everything and friendship is simply not limited to being within the same species.
In this tiny body of work you will learn what is meant when people in the metaphysical arena refer to as "energy" as well as what it is and how to use it. If you've tried vision boards, meditation or other forms of manifestation and nothing has worked for you, this book is for you. Kellie explains simply and beautifully the hows, whys and whens of working with energy in order to create the life you really want to live.
This book intentionally has no table of contents and no titles of individual writings. It's meant for you to find those words that speak to you, whatever it is you're going through at any given time, by simply opening the book to no specific page. Then you can give your own titles to what you find herein that moves your heart. While it is acknowledged this is highly divergent it is the intent of the author and publisher that this collection of writings be "used" rather than simply "read." Thank you for indulging us.
Much has changed since the first version of this book was released. So much that I decided it was time to do a revision. That's the way life goes, you know? Just when you think you have everything all figured out; when you're living with the person you think will be with you forever in the house you built together. Then it all falls apart. The person you thought was your best friend decided you are no longer theirs. Health challenges occur. People pass on. I had five people in my life transition from life within an 18 month period of time beginning right around the time of my divorce. Yes it was traumatic. Life happens. Things change. Then somewhere along the way I changed too. I stopped hiding who I was. I stopped caring so much about whether or not people liked me. I learned to embrace my gifts, let go of those people who never liked me to begin with, and most importantly, I learned to love myself. The real, messy, animal loving, creative, intelligent and silly me.So, too, this book has changed a bit. Things added, others either removed or edited. It has been asked of me why not just do a new book, and in all seriousness I am working on one. But if life changes, and I've changed, then I do believe this book can change as well. I do hope you like it.
Embarking on a spiritual path does not mean you can simply throw away your past. Everyone has some sort of trauma, pain, loss or other negative emotions they've held held onto. Many of these emotions have kept you from living the wonderful life you were meant to live. Finding spirituality means you accept your past, and leave it behind you so that your past does not keep reoccurring in your future and so you can truly move forward in life.
