Some areas in science are manifested by widely accepted conceptions which are understood not enough deeply or even wrong. Author calls such concepts "perpetuum mobiles of the third kind". Similar to perpetuum mobiles of the first and second kind in thermodynamics, perpetuum mobile of the third kind is something that really does not exist, but in fact that cannot be proven. In addition to this there are a lot of facts that testify absence of their existence indirectly. This book narrates stories at least of some of such objects as well as author's explanation of what is "wrong" with them. Genre of the present book is rather scientific fiction where 70% of science is diluted by 30% of fiction.
