In Proverbs 5, there are symbols connected to the woman, of a well and fountain, and also the deer. Other symbols of the woman found in the Bible include the "little bird", the palm tree, and the scapegoat. A Well of Bethlehem looks at the stories of women in the Bible connected to these symbols, with the idea of coming into mindfulness of God's heart towards healing the wounds of women. In this framework, it examines things that are foundational to God and to our faith.
