A little town seen through the eys of an angel. My name is Griffin Marcus. I am a little town guardian angel. I'm not a saint or a star of any sort; more of a down-home, seat-of-the-pants, no-frills, what you see is what you get angel. When I was on Earth in the 1890s I was murdered by a crazy woman who claimed to be my wife. The bullet shot right through my head and killed my dog. The Parker Town sheriff arrested her. The next day the townspeople hung her for murder. Of course, I can still hear it now: "Saloon keepers are a dime a dozen! But shootin' a good dog! Now that's a hangin' offense." Justice was a lot swifter back then. A tree limb was not hard to come by and neither was a rope. I met the shooter on the Other Side and it turns out she had one of those chemical imbalances that made her delusional. Our paths cross now and then but she still makes me nervous. My job, as the Head Guardian Angel of Parker Town, nestled at 11,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains, is to keep a journal; snippets and stories of the "goings on" for the last 100 years. I'm a bit behind and God is not thrilled about it. He has even shown me a slide-show of my next possible mission; a little paradise called Bangladesh.

This is the first book in a series of fourteen. It introduces the characters and gives their history and background.

Grandpa and Bizby the little squirt are hiking on the mountain and come upon an old rock house where the "Old Speelock lives." Everyone has heard awful things about him and fear has always kept everyone away. Bizby is afraid of nothing and knocks on the door. The Old Speelock comes out....Okay, you have to read this one too. The story is the conclusion to Little Squirts Book One. A terrific rescue in space.

Rocky is a music nut. He was hanging around the music store so much they hired him to work there. Rocky gets fired for stealing CDs. He wanted to earn money for the big concert. All the rest of the kids find ways to earn enough to go too but just as things are going well, .. His friends come to the rescue and...You'll just have to read it. This book teaches the value of friendship.

Bizby and Slipper have just been to a planet where all the natural resources have been used up. "It was really awful," said Bizby. They don't want this to happen at home so they round up all the kids and teach them that it's fun to recycle and they can even make money doing it. They do such a great job of cleaning up the town that the mayor gives them an award. This book teaches civic responsibility in a way that makes it fun.

The kids are off to another planet in Grandpa's big blue spaceship to visit the fragrant freenkert farm and transport a load of the delicious fruit back home. "The Sting-a-ling Forest is dangerous, do not go near there," said Uncle Philo. But a broken tow rope sends Sneaker careening down the mountain right into the home of Wizzer, the Sting-a-ling. The kids all show up back at the farm with colored polka dots because that's what happens if a Sting-a-ling kisses you.

Sneaker is an incredible skateboarder who won the big prize last year. He is totally bummed because his family is moving to a new town. A crash and a stay in the hospital teaches him how lucky he is to have so many friends, old and new.

Rosy and her friend Mitzy make a discovery in an old abandoned shack that warms their hearts and gets them both in trouble with Rosy's Mom. Rocky, George and Bruno play a trick on the girls but... "Hey! Don't give away the story!"

George and Bizby, the little squirt love to read but when the new library opens all the letters are missing. George is brokenhearted and confused as he sets out to find out the cause. This book teaches the importance of reading and just how wonderful the written word is.

This story has all the kids searching in Grandpa's spaceship for the missing clouds for the cloud races. The little squirts, Bizby, Slipper and Lazlo are set to race this year but the sky is empty and the festival is coming soon. The soccular (circular soccer ) team, The Rockets is set to play for the championship But are terrified by the opposing team who look huge in a video. Of course there is a happy ending but you will have to read the book.

They are all terrified of him but overcome their fear...oh no, you have to read the ending. This book teaches the importance of hard work and wonderful results when you find a common cause, especially with close friends.

Grandpa and a funny little character named Bizby, a little squirt from a yellow moon circling a big red planet, find adventure on a desert hike when Grandpa falls into a cavern and makes an incredible discovery. Bizby makes an awesome rescue and the rest you'll have to read. This book teaches the importance of not going into a dangerous place alone.

For those of you who don't like cats, you are in luck; this is not a book about cats. It is just a catchy title. Sorry cat lovers. It's a journal kept by an angel of the people in a little town in the Rocky Mountains; snapshots taken from the 1830s to the present. For those of you who don't like people, this book might give you a new appreciation for those around you. Or maybe not depending on just how grouchy you really are. If that is the case, I wouldn't worry about anyone liking you anyway, unless you have a lot of money; then they will still talk behind your back. Go ahead and read my book in private.
