Martin Johnson, started his career with the South Wales Argus, progressed to the Leicester Mercury, was former cricket correspondent of The Independent, sports feature writer of the Daily Telegraph and multi-faceted writer for The Sunday Times. A rare and exceptional journalistic talent who completed this work right up to the moment he succumbed to an ugly illness.
