Dieses Fachbuch gibt Aufschluss uber die Grundzuge des deutschen Stromsystems und geht auf aktuelle Entwicklungen ein. Unter Berucksichtigung zahlreicher beeinflussender Faktoren und eines Literaturreviews wird der Stromspeicherbedarf in Deutschland abgeschatzt und zusammen mit Berechnungen zu Stromspeicherkosten ausgewahlte Technologien beurteilt. In diesem Rahmen wird die aktuelle Gesetzeslage sowie die Netzdienlichkeit bzw. Netzvertraglichkeit von Stromspeichern beleuchtet. Power-to-Gas inkl. der vorhandenen Erdgasinfrastruktur ist ein eigenes Kapitel gewidmet. Letztlich werden die Potenziale synthetischer Gase im Verkehrsektor aufgezeigt sowie die Erdgas- und Elektromobilitat gegenubergestellt.
