We also chronicle the search for life - extraterrestrial life - in the universe that NASA is spearheading. These space discoveries and space missions by NASA, the European Space Agency, astronomers at universities and global space agencies, including China, offer time-travel trips to the creation of stars and planets billions of years ago. In some case, these discoveries will carry you to the very dawn of the Universe. These exciting discoveries are re-defining our perceptions of space and pushing deeper and deeper into the farthest reaches of the vast Universe around us. Get ready for a journey into space!
"Fighting for a Greener World" brings together the latest science on Climate Change and the most innovative global remedies and solutions. Climate Change is worsening with temperatures and sea levels rising and the ice sheets in the Arctic and Antarctic melting at unprecedented rates. Climate change is spawning extreme weather including months of historic flooding in China, tropical temperatures in Siberia, massive back-to-back hurricanes, unprecedented wildfires and scorching summer temperatures. Global scientists warn that the Earth is on a collision course with Climate disasters unless action is taken now to drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions.Green TravelIn the book, I examine current and emerging remedies and solutions to reverse Climate Change. Green, electric, emissions-free travel by car, plane and other fascinating new forms of green transportation are showcased in the book.Green Renewable EnergyThe book presents the latest renewable energy solutions being deployed and developed. New energy sources include hydrogen, wind and solar power. We look at the question of how global utility companies are supporting or not supporting the use and development of renewable energy sources like wind and solar power. According to an Oxford University comprehensive analysis of 3,000 power companies worldwide, an overwhelming majority are not supporting and funding renewables. In fact, the Oxford study concludes global utilities "are undermining the fight against Climate Change".Green Governments, Businesses and InvestingThe book also details the efforts of governments worldwide to regulate, reduce and eventually eradicate greenhouse gas emissions. The green goals of major corporations like Apple and Microsoft are showcased. As are the very specific green investment parameters newly instituted by global financial institutions, such as Blackrock. If you care about Climate Change's relentless assault on the Earth, the air we breathe and the water we drink and the growing global fight to combat Climate Change, you will find this book of great value.
Vol. 3 showcases the breakthrough world of rapidly accelerating innovation including AR, VR, AI, quantum computing and much more. Growth in the AR/VR sector is exploding. In 2018 global revenues hit $27 billion, up 92% year over year. Growing numbers of industries are using the technology. For example, heart surgeons are beginning to use AR goggles to see MRI and CT scans during heart surgery. Network television is experimenting with AR national news sets. Adidas is using AR to cut sales times on limited edition, high demand sneakers from hours to a few minutes. Concerning VR, Facebook believes it's the next big thing and vows to pull in a billion new VR users. This, as the world's first VR shoes and gloves have debuted, enabling users to "feel and touch" virtual objects. AI also is exploding with new applications. The uses appear to be endless. We spotlight AI glasses restoring eyesight, AI systems identifying personalities, AI detecting cancer and heart disease, AI empowered robots, AI powered gliders and much more. We also showcase the quantum opportunities from quantum computing, 5G, new superfast chips and many other fast-breaking technologies. The approach we take is brief news stories that are fun, fast, news you can use reads. I hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed researching and writing it. Ed Kane

Is there life and radically new forms of life in the vast reaches of the universe surrounding us? The collective opinion of many top global scientists and space experts at NASA, the European Space Agency and the Chinese Space Agency is YES! There is life in the universe beyond Earth, just waiting to be discovered. And they are putting billions of dollars in space science, massively powerful telescopes and space missions behind their search to find life in space. NASA Director Jim Bridenstine has made finding life in space a top Agency priority. He says "we are well on our way to discovering life on another world". "NASA, UFOs, Aliens" is a top priority mission for NASA in the 2020's. These aliens from space are likely to be radically different forms of life. Chinese space scientists theorize the aliens may include highly advanced civilizations with technology far superior to ours.As a journalist, I've written a book "Search for Life in Space" that documents the monumental scientific undertakings now underway to make our civilization the first to find life in the universe around us. These endeavors have taken the question of the existence of UFO's and of extraterrestrial life, including visitors from space, from the realm of science fiction to science. An unprecedented series of UFO sightings come from the US Department of Defense. In spring of 2020, the Pentagon released three videos shot by US Navy pilots that document UFOs over both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The Defense Department said it released the images and videos to provide concrete evidence that unidentified aerial phenomena - UFOs with visitors from space - are real and that the UFOs remain unidentified. The International Space Station and astronauts also have had close encounters of the first kind with UFO's, possibly piloted by aliens from space, in 2020 and going back quite a few years. The question of whether there is life in the universe, new forms of life in new worlds far beyond the Earth, goes back across the centuries to ancient Greece. Great thinkers and writers like Plutarch have chronicled mysterious, unidentified flying objects in the sky. Christopher Columbus, during his journey to discover America, saw a celestial event at sea and he documented it in his ship diary. Great leaders and scientists like Sir Winston Churchill and Stephen Hawkings wrote about their belief that we Earthlings are not alone in the vast universe. Entrepreneur, engineer and CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk believes that extraterrestrials may be observing us without our knowledge. The perspectives of these extraordinary thinkers are included in my book about the search for life in space, including NASA, UFOs & ALIENS.The book showcases the many global space discoveries of planets and signs of life, including Super-Earths and exoplanets with the potential to sustain life. Also showcased are the many exciting missions going to the Moon, Mars and deep into space searching for signs of life that existed long ago and searching for forms of life that exist today. The space journeys, exploration and science being used to find new life in the vast universe around us are extraordinary and exciting. My book on the search for life in space takes you on a journey of scientists and UFOs, of visitors from space and of the unprecedented scientific pursuit for new life forms in space.
