"The Adventures of Paleta Man" is the story of an ice cream man who becomes a superhero. Esteban Ruiz makes a living by selling ice cream. A good and hardworking man, Esteban enjoys his job, especially when it brings him closer to Margarita Morales, the woman he loves. But being a modest man makes Esteban an easy target. He has been bullied, and becomes frustrated by his inability to defend himself. His fate suddenly changes when he purchases an antique wooden box. The box contains a magical medallion that gives Esteban special abilities. With his newly acquired strength, he decides to help those in need and punish criminals. He calls himself Paleta Man. When a new villain captures Margarita, Esteban will need all of his super powers.

Paleta Man continues to sell ice cream to the neighborhood kids and to secretly fight crime throughout the city whenever there is trouble. One day he is approached by a descendant of the Aztec Tribe who informs him that his gold medallion holds a secret that has been kept by many generations of Aztec descendants. He decides to travel to Mexico in search of the secret and to try to unlock the mystery of how and why he was transformed into a Superhero with Aztec Warrior powers. Upon his return Paleta Man must then summon the powers of the great Aztec Warriors to defeat a new villain by the name of Pancho Talache.

Esteban Ruiz sigue trabajando vendiendo paletas de helado a los niños de la vecindad mientras continúa combatiendo el crimen como Paleta Man, el Superhéroe. En un sueño, un antiguo ancestro viene y le dice que el calendario azteca dice que el mundo se acabará pronto y que Paleta Man tiene que viajar al Templo de la Pirámide del Sol que se encuentra en Teotihuacán, México; donde tendrá que luchar con Huitzilopochtli, el Dios de la Guerra con la ayuda de Quetzalcóatl la serpiente emplumada que es parte humana y parte Dios. Paleta Man derrota Huitzilopochtli con la ayuda de Quetzalcoatl y salva el mundo de la aniquilación total.

He must then travel to the great pyramid in Mexico in search of the well-kept secret and to try to unlock the mystery of how and why he was transformed into a Superhero with Aztec powers.

Miguel wants to recover a family treasure that was left to him by his grandmother and buried long ago by Santa Anna's Army while retreating back to Mexico from Texas. He & his friends make a two day road trip in search of the gold. Dangerous complications arise and there is plenty of greed, humor, danger & thrills and in the end satisfaction. The treasure hunt is halted when abnormal things begin happening. Everyone runs to escape, but there is nowhere to hide in the brush of South Texas!
