Neurodegeneration is a serious, significant and major health threat worldwide. It is classified as a growing defacement of cognitive or motor function, which is followed by various types neurological disorders such like Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), Huntington's disease (HD), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and many others with the no proper and standard treatment available so far Cummings J; Pihlstrøm et al. [1,2]. AD is the most leading cause of death in United States with ranked sixth, while PD the second most common neurodegenerative disease (NDDs) after AD, damage 1 to 2% person aged above 65 Silva et al; Rijk et al; Bekris et al; Farrer Alzheimer's Association [3-7]. The pathophysiology of these diseases is very diverse in nature Abeliovich et al; Canter et al [8, 9]. Some occurs due to decline in memory and cognitive function, other result in affecting the person ability of speaking. walking. breathing Taylor et al: T.Wyss-Corey [10.11]. The most of the neurodegenerative disease are describe by their specific protein aggregation and anatomic predisposition. Various underlying processes associated with increasing neuronal cell loss and death includes proteotoxic stress, oxidative stress, abnormal ubiquitin-proteasomal as well as autophagy lysomal system, programmed cell death, mitochondrial dysfunction, neuroinflammation Dugger et al: Milenkovic [12, 13]. Various studies support the complex etiology of these neurological disorder such like abnormal or defective protein aggregation and degradation, reactive oxygen species (ROS) overproduction and oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction and exposure to chemical/environmental toxicants such as metal ion, pesticides, pollution etc. Each neurological disorder has their own methodology and manifestation at molecular as well as clinical state. However some common pathways are identified in different disease pathogenesis including oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, protein misfolding. formation of free radicles, metal dyshomeostasis to study the underlying mechanism of neurodegenerative disease and their common pathogenesis among others. Exploring these similarities will open a new ray of hope for therapeutic invention that will provide better understanding of disease pathogenesis and improved treatment for neurodegeneration.

This book provides an exclusive and critical in-depth analysis of paddy straw waste valorization at a broad scale for different industrial applications. It explores and discusses the various valorization pathways of paddy straw into valuable products connected to biorefineries' products and byproducts. The book also examines the scope, potential, and availability of paddy straw in the field of biorefineries.Various lignocellulosic biomasses with expanded potential are known for their industrial applications, even at a broad pilot range. Among these biomasses, paddy straw has emerged as the most suitable lignocellulosic waste for various biorefinery applications. Paddy is a crucial and widely consumed crop globally, and it generates the highest annual production of waste compared to other cereal crops. The cellulose content, accounting for approximately 47% of the total cellulosic biomass, offers significant potential for valorization, along with hemicellulose and lignin, which can also be explored and expanded on an industrial scale. However, despite the tremendous scope for valorization, lignocellulosic biomass-based biorefineries face cost-effectiveness challenges that need to be addressed for sustainable and uniform expansion, distribution, and economic scalability in various applications. The book's specific feature lies in its targeted and specific valorization of paddy straw into biofuels and other biorefinery-based products, which hold promising industrial applications and easily scalable approaches for mass production. This book is an essential resource for students, scientists, engineers and practitioners working in the biorefinery industry and academia.

This edited book covers all the existing possibilities of using food waste as a potential, alternative and 'ready to use', feed stock for biofuels production. Moreover, it also presents all the sustainable and economically feasible biofuels option with their details strategies, mechanism, advantages, draw backs and future scope. It also explores in depth knowledge of food waste, and details the processing as well as opportunities to utilize it at for mass scale biofuels production. The practical feasibility and economic sustainability of biofuels production is still suffering with its cost intensity and lack of rigorous scientific strategies as well as inputs to explore it on further at upscale level. Low cost, carbon rich, economic and environmental friendly feedstock, may have strong possibilities to reduce the overall biofuels production cost and the book is based on this strategy. The book is of interest to academicians and researchers interested in industries related to biofuels production, food processing industries and industries related to waste valorization.

Tumor markers are substances found in the human body, usually in blood, urine or body tissues that can be elevated in cancer. So, they are biochemical indicators of the presence of a tumor. We can detect specific cancer by various laboratory techniques & provide therapeutic benefit to the patient. With advances in technology, researchers are more inclined towards genomics, proteomics, serum biomarkers, salivary markers etc. to detect tumor or malignancy at the earliest. Thus, this book briefly comprises of tumor markers of common systemic, oral & paraoral malignancies with their laboratory techniques and recent advancements which thereby greatly promote progress towards novel diagnostic & predictive tools for early detection of cancer. This book is very useful for students in medical, dental, researchers and professionals.
