Gregorian chant belongs to the oldest music being preserved in such scope till present; moreover it is still performed but also is one that mostly influenced the history and presence of music. For the reason it is important for ukulele players to meet this kind of music. The equipment for ukulele players includes campanela style which is the best for Gregorian chant play. This style helps to induce a large cathedral reverb. Therefore, left hand fingering is written above tablatures. Try to keep it and have strings drone. The book contains 44 tunes for standard ukulele tuning (g-c-e-a). Includes: Veni Creator Spiritus, Stabat Mater, Veni Sancte Spiritus, Pater Noster, Missa XI, Ave Maria, Ave Verum Corpus and many more...

Ussually melody is on deep string and chord tones are on other strings. Includes: Adeste Fideles (O Come, All Ye Faithful), Away In A Manger, Bring A Torch Jeanette Isabella, Deck the Hall, Good King Wenceslas, I Saw Three Ships, Joy To The World, O Christmas Tree, O Little Town Of Bethlehem, Silent Night, The First Noel, We Three Kings Of Orient Are, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, What Child Is This? Cut capo or also partial capo brings quitar playing very interesting possibilities and what is more new and unusual harmonies. It is used by varied quitarists, but most often only as an accompaniment. This book tries to use cut cupo for solo play as well. Each composition is written four-times to let you know usual practices at cut capo play. When I write about cut capo I mean one that is sometimes called as "Esus capo"or "DADGAD capo". When using this capo, strings ADG are shortened. When using the capo in opposite way, it shortened DGB strings. The are in the book songs without text. Therefore, he was interested in Scottish folk song. He collected and prepared it to be published. When he was unsatisfied with lyrics in some of the songs, he revised it and arranged or wrote new lyrics on a former music. That is why many songs could be resurrected to life. And even though today we do not know the authors of the original music, at least we know the author of the lyrics. Irish tunes for all ukulele. Includes: Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine, Morrison's Jig, The Butterfly, In the Tap Room, Irish Washerwoman, Sailor's Hornpipe, Kesh Jig and many more... The book contains 56 tunes for all ukulele tunings. Why more tunings? There are many reasons right here. C tuning is most common used for ukulele. D tuning fits better for Irish music. Irish melodies move in friendly keys to this ukulele. G tuning is most convenient for an accompanying a group. To allow the instrumentalist to play more than just an accompaniment, you will find arrangements here. Even having one tuning can I play from tablatures for another tuning? Yes, you can. Moreover, you will be able to play Irish music in other keys. In addition each tune has two tablatures. First tablature is recorded "in one line". We try to play notes of melody on strings that are as close as possible. Second tablature is recorded in campanella style. Check out samples from books: http: //osos.sweb.cz/preview-ukulele.pdf
