More than Money provides innovators and entrepreneurs with strategies for eradicating poverty in developed and developing countries. Author Paul Godfrey shows how five types of interrelated capital-institutional, human, social, organizational, and physical-can be harnessed to create not just economic value, but also social wellbeing.
Godfrey's "The Blue Ball" is a large-scale work which presents an imaginative investigation of the experience of space travel. It is a play which shows overwhelming emotion meeting obsessive scientific routine, and explores the wonder and shock of the imagination made real.
Four short plays for young actors
This volume includes the plays: "Inventing a New Colour"; "Once in a While the Odd Thing Happens"; "A Bucket of Eels"; "The Blue Ball". Paul Godfrey has worked as a director in repertory and small scale touring, and he directed his own plays at the Royal National Theatre.
Based on Benjamin Britten's life and personal interviews with his sister Beth, this play reveals the composer's sense of humanity and his relationships with W.H.Auden and Peter Pears. It culminates in the premiere of Peter Grimes in 1947. Godfrey also wrote "A Bucket of Eels".
