The ceramic industry is known for its production of various types of ceramics, such as tiles, pottery, and sanitaryware. However, this sector also generates a significant amount of waste during the manufacturing process. To address the environmental and economic challenges posed by this waste, researchers and industry professionals have been conducting investigations into the potential utilization of ceramic industry waste. These investigations aim to identify innovative ways to repurpose and recycle the waste generated by ceramic production. Researchers explore different techniques to transform the waste into valuable materials or products. This waste may include discarded ceramics, excess raw materials, or waste generated during the production and finishing processes. One area of investigation involves studying the feasibility of using ceramic waste as a raw material in the construction industry. Waste ceramics can be crushed and used as aggregates in concrete production, providing a sustainable alternative to traditional aggregates like gravel and sand. This approach not only reduces the demand for natural resources but also improves the mechanical properties of concrete.Additionally, researchers are investigating the use of ceramic waste in the manufacturing of ceramic-based products. By incorporating waste materials into new ceramic formulations, it is possible to reduce the reliance on virgin raw materials while maintaining the desired quality and aesthetics. Moreover, ceramic waste investigations focus on developing efficient recycling techniques. These may involve advanced sorting and separation methods to recover valuable components from the waste stream, such as metals or rare-earth elements used in ceramic glazes. By extracting these valuable resources, the industry can reduce its environmental footprint and decrease its dependency on primary raw materials.Utilizing ceramic industry waste through these investigations holds great potential for sustainable development. It not only minimizes waste disposal and associated environmental impacts but also promotes resource conservation and circular economy principles. Through ongoing research and collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers, the ceramic sector can transform its waste into valuable resources and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Nature's Healing Powers: An Overview Nature has always been there for us, providing comfort, inspiration, and most importantly, healing. The potential of nature's healing abilities has been an ever-present thread throughout human history, from traditional herbal treatments to cutting-edge pharmaceuticals produced from plants. Nature offers a huge array of resources that have the power to heal and preserve our bodily, mental, and emotional well-being. Humans' evolutionary history includes a close connection to the restorative powers of nature. Primitive peoples drew on the natural world for everything from food to medicine. Indigenous civilizations, in particular, have maintained a wealth of information about the therapeutic powers of numerous plants, herbs, and other natural resources. The knowledge included in these time-tested methods of care has been passed down through the ages and is relevant today. The concept of using natural resources for healing is expansive, covering a wide range of methods, products, and approaches. It is not confined to medicinal herbs, although they play a vital role. These include the promise of biomimicry in developing cutting-edge medical innovations, the psychological impact of natural aesthetics, and the therapeutic value of spending time in natural areas. Understanding and using nature's healing power can lead to more holistic and sustainable approaches to treatment. The Green Pharmacy of Medicinal Plants The usage of medicinal plants extends back thousands of years, and it is one of the most notable representations of nature's healing potential. Herbal medicine is a practice that has been passed down from generation to generation in many different civilizations. Plants like aloe vera, lavender, and echinacea have long been recognized for their healing benefits. Even mainstream medicine recognizes the merits of these time-honored techniques. In truth, many pharmaceutical medications are either directly derived from plants or are conceptually similar to plant-based drugs. Aspirin, for instance, originates from the willow tree, whereas the Pacific yew tree is the source of the anti-cancer medication Taxol.

Upnishads are the gem of Vedic texts and they are germinating point of various philosophies originated in India and outside .There are lot of translation and explanations of these text existing for thousands of year. Most of school of thoughts in Hinduism have written vast commentaries upon these texts and tried to prove that there view of thought is based upon Vedas. This text is written in poetry form in one of the most important language of India. The Maithili poem form will make original text accessible in native language. The other reason is mother tongue is most close to an individual and it directs hits the chord of heart and brings diverse thoughts which become mechanical process in other languages. The poetry form is most close to heart of man. The translation in prose gets devoid of beauty from the text and looks unnatural. Many words have different meanings in Sanskrit and gives different meanings when arranged in different permutation. It's always better to give people chance to get all meaning in spite of having just one. Many words in Sanskrit in Maithili being common as its origin being the former make the work easier. This journey of writing was very fruitful to me as it enhanced my understandability of text and gave me chance to muse in more depth. The deeper meaning of text is matter of meditation. Writer does not claim to have school/college knowledge of Maithili/ Sanskrit or poetry. Maithili being his native language and Sanskrit being part of his upbringing and Brahminical culture. Text freely available on web has been consulted (Archive.org /wikisource.org).

Football and Fascism. The Politics of Popular Culture in Portugal tells the hidden history of football and discusses its political, social and cultural foundations, during the longest running authoritarian regime in Europe. Theoretically grounded on Bourdieu's field theory, and using a multi-scalar methodology, this award-winning research explores the political tensions between the nationalization of sports envisaged by the Portuguese "New State" and the integration of national football in a globalized urban popular culture. Mobilizing unexplored archival sources, and a wide array of primary materials, this groundbreaking work offers new insight on the administrative structures of the corporativist state, the making of an authoritarian cultural program, and the relation between state institutions and civil society. Besides broadening the scope of existing transnational histories of football, this study also puts into question the conventional geographies and political chronologies adopted in sports history. For his oustanding research, Rahul Kumar won the 2015 "Mário Soares Award - EDP Foundation" for best work in Portuguese history by researchers under 35 and received an honourable mention, also in 2015, in the "CES Award for Young Portuguese speaking Social Scientists", attributed by the Centre for Social Studies of Coimbra University.
