Believers face a serious dilemma: submit to authorities exercising principles of authority Scripture ascribes to Satan's kingdom of darkness or be judged and condemned for refusing to submit. What Did Jesus Say About Authority? Discusses in-depth the Greek word exousia, which in Scripture defines both the power and authority of God's kingdom and Satan's kingdom. Author Ralph Good reveals that people who are blind to what Jesus said about authority fall into Satan's trap. They submit to and follow false apostles masquerading as ministers of the gospel, who teach doctrines and visions of men. Such separation from God will lead people to their spiritual death.
This study on Spiritual Authority reveals: That the Greek word most often translated as authority, which The Holy Bible uses to define the power and authority of God, Jesus Christ, Disciples, Apostles and New Covenant Believers. Is also used 20% of the time in scripture to define the power and authority of Satan, the Devil, the Beast and the Kingdom of Darkness. If we do not know the true meaning, responsibilities, and boundaries of Spiritual Authority, as established by God in scripture; how can we possibility know, if those presenting themselves as authorities in our lives are expressing God's authority? On the other hand, authority scripture attributes to Satan, the Devil, the Beast, and the Kingdom of Darkness, as the same Greek word defines all of them. However, sometimes, it translates differently. If you cannot confidently define and explain the differences, with full conviction, between the power and authority ascribed by scripture with the same Greek word to both kingdoms, this study on Spiritual Authority, which includes every Greek word authority translates from, is for you!
There is a systemic problem with authority manifesting in the church today that hinders the move of God and destroys lives. This problem began with Lucifer pursuing his self-interest of becoming ruler of creation. In his attempt to overthrow the authority structure in Heaven, Lucifer began to assert himself over Michael and his angels by exercising authority and wielding power over them to become their ruler. Michael and his angels refused to submit to Lucifer, the authority God established who had rejected God's purpose for authority and pursued his self-interest. Their refusal to submit caused a war to break out in heaven (Rev. 12:7). Lucifer, now known as Satan, lost and was kicked out of heaven to earth. Again, Satan, in his attempt to become ruler of creation, overthrew the authority structure God established on earth by deceiving Adam to give up his rights to the authority God had given him. These acts caused the separation of humanity from God, leading to their spiritual death. Satan became the ruler of this world instead of man. On the cross, Jesus defeated Satan and began building His Church by setting the example as a servant leader, and said. "The gates of Hell will not prevail against His church." Again, Satan, in his quest to be ruler of creation, is trying to overthrow the servant leadership Jesus established in His church, by sending false prophets, false teachers, and false apostles masquerading as men of God. Who wield power and exercise authority over God's people in violation of the servant leadership Jesus established in His church. The author is a victim of the systemic problem with authority that manifested in the church, which nearly destroyed his life. He wishes to expose those false authorities masquerading as men of God who wield power and exercise authority over God's people in violation of the teaching of Jesus to pursue their self-interests. Like Satan, these authorities do not acknowledge, honor, or respect the truth about Jesus and His established purpose for authority, which hinders the move of God and destroys lives. According to the apostle John, this reveals the presence of the spirit of the antichrist (1John4:1-3).
A Closer Look at Authority investigates and identifiesGod's true purpose, responsibly and qualifyingcharacteristics for authority in the Church. As wellas Satan's abuse and misuse of God's authority byfalse preachers that separate people from God,enslaving people to follow false teachings, selfishambitions and traditions of men. This study includes every Greek word authority istranslated from; Seven in the KJV, twelve in theNKJV, and lists all the English words they are translatedtoo in every verse in the Bible along with theirdefinitions. What is most shocking! The Greek wordmost often translated to authority happens to bethe Greek word second most often translated topower. This very same Greek word in scripturedefines the power and authority of God, JesusChrist, disciples, believers, as well as, the power ofSatan, the devil, the Beast and the kingdom ofdarkness.
