The Victorious Journey is another valuable resource book that takes the Christian on the journey that will not only prepare them to face the many obstacles along the way, but to understand the valuable lessons that have been left by the footprints of those who have gone before us. The author takes the witness and challenges of the saints of old from Abel to the children of Israel to the Lord Himself to show the route that every sincere sold-out saint will walk. The obstacle courses and challenges may vary, but the lessons about faith and the discovery of God's abiding care, protection, and faithful commitment never wavers from generation to generation. We often think there is nothing to learn from those who have gone before us, but this book proves differently by showing that the walk of faith, the challenges, and the destination are the same for every saint who dares to walk the way of Calvary in order to become a follower of Jesus Christ and to complete the course.
Much of the presentation about the Christian life is treated as a mere religion of rules or an add-on to our present life rather than an actual life that must be lived out regardless of the challenges of the age. The Apostle Paul stated that he was living the life of Christ by faith. Jesus stated that He is the life and instructed His followers to possess their soul in patience for that is where the main battle takes place. The two books in this presentation address what it means to possess our souls and what the Christian life looks like when it is being established in our inner man. Possessing Our Souls reveals the digression of a person's soul if they fail to possess the new life of Christ in patience and meekness in the power of the Holy Spirit. The second book, Experiencing the Christian Life is a bonus book to show what a soul that is tempered by the Holy Spirit will reflect. For a believer to reach their potential as an overcomer and their destiny as a saint, the presence of God is necessary to actually discover, experience, and live the Christian life to possess the eternal inheritance promised them, and to ultimately reflect our Lord Jesus Christ's glory. This is another book that would fit nicely as a resource book in any Christian library. It is one that will not be easily forgotten.
Most of humanity desires to take a journey of a lifetime that will forever change their life and even their course in a meaningful way. Author Rayola Kelley has been on such a journey which she has recorded in two books that are contained in this book. This journey began when she met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Up until then she found herself on many adventures, but they ended in dead ends, failures and nightmares. Her first book, From Prisons and Dots to Christianity presents a powerful insight into her personal journey of spiritual growth to come to perfection in Christ, while the second book, So You Want to be in Ministry gives insight into the real shaping and molding of God-ordained ministries. Through her journey, the author learned that great ministries are established by God having His way with His ministers. Ministers must become pliable in the hands of the great Potter for a ministry to become an effective tool where God is glorified through His servants. When all is said and done, the real target is not the ministry, which is a mere means to operate, but the ministers that will ultimately determine the impact the ministry leaves behind.
More Heavenly Treasures is the sixth book in the collection of inspirational stories, sayings, and poems written and compiled by the author Rayola Kelley. As in previous Nugget Books, it is the author's purpose to bring out the gems of wisdom that can grace our lives with heavenly blessings and riches. God's Word is a treasure chest and by opening it to handle, consider or meditate on each of His nuggets will greatly enhance our lives. These nuggets are to add to our already priceless heritage that comprises an heirloom that speaks of grace, shines with snippets of wisdom, adds luster to gems of truth, and gives glimpses into the many Christian virtues that bring out the reflection of Jesus in the lives of His saints. Like the other Nugget Books, this book can serve as a "table" where the reader is able to "sit" and partake of a "full-meal deal" or perhaps find a bit of "honey" that will enable them to get through the day. It can be for those who are on the run or for those who want to sit a while and meditate on the beautiful blessings and ways of God.
Many people are seeking the answers to "who am I," "why do I do the things I do," and "how is it I can't get off the merry-go-round when it comes to the cycles I am in?" Hidden Manna (Revised) answers these questions, along with others. It is the updated version of the original Hidden Manna book that came out in 1995 as a valuable resource to the Hidden Manna Seminars that were being conducted in the states of Idaho, Washington, Utah, and Arizona. This book brings us back to the core of our struggles within, and our problems with others. It gives us insights into why we continue to do the same things over and over as well as a tool to help us in our relationship with God and others. It is a book that can't be skimmed or skipped through; rather, it requires readers to be honest about the inner workings of their lives and enables them to recognize the differences in others in order to properly respond and minister to them. Hidden Manna (Revised) is a book that contains priceless information for those who want to be part of the solution to what ails their relationships as well as gain a greater revelation of Jesus Christ that was hidden within humanity, but has been unveiled in the book. It is a revelation with the power to revolutionize homes and churches.
This book is the combination of the works of Rayola Kelley and Jeannette Haley, Co-founders of Gentle Shepherd Ministries in 1989. Between the two women they have around nine decades of studying and imparting the Word of God to others. Their goal has always been to make the glorious truth of Jesus Christ and His redemption a living reality to the hearts of His followers. Included in this book are the Gentle Ministries Discipleship Course that has been requested and used by people throughout the world, along with Bible Studies, excerpts from sermons and articles. Every bit of material in this resource of information has been complied with one goal in mind, and that is to build up and nurture the life of Christ in the members of His Body, the Church. Although some information will seem repetitious at times, one must remember the subjects and themes are eternal truths that can and must be approached from different angles to ensure a sound spiritual foundation and a sturdy foundation. The information and challenges put forth in this book will not only nurture serious disciples of Jesus, but it will bring a well-rounded understanding as to the fundamental beliefs that make up the Christian faith.
As believers of Jesus Christ, we are sojourners through this tumultuous age of darkness and destruction. As a result, the daily journey through this world can become long and tedious. Sometimes the challenges become overwhelming, the hard places discouraging, the dark places despairing, the looming obstacles impossible to cross over or around, and the formidable valleys endless. The truth is, without faith in the Lord, His promises to stand on and the hope that comes with ever looking up for the parting of the clouds when He returns, many would simply give up and let the tsunami of our times swallow them up in the immense cesspool of its profanity, while sweeping them away with the terrible debris of destruction. In order to keep one's perspective, believers must take time to sit awhile and look around at creation, consider their present blessings and ponder the truths and promises of God's Word. This book offers daily meditations for a year from the combined writings of Rayola Kelley and Jeannette Haley. These devotions are designed to highlight the simplicity, sweetness and promises of Scripture in order to refresh the weary, bring inspiration to the hopeless, and encouragement to the downhearted. Our Lord's invitation for you is "And the Spirit and bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely" (Revelation 22:17).
This is the second of two books written by the author that contain her Facebook posts that span over three years. They speak of personal challenges as the author addresses life happenings and the various events that confronted the world. It is a book of encouragement and teaching that will help the seeking soul to find a place of sanity and hope in the only real source that is available in this present age.
