This is a volume of poetry written by Ronan Blaze. A number of them are new while others are drawn from several volumes publishjed earlier. The author has been careful to provide a mix that reflects the body of his works to date.

After the battles, Arian deliberates on the fates of his captives. He takes steps to ensure compliance with the Nehemian Code in dispensing justice to the surviving aggressors. Meanwhile, Parsifal, while visiting Kilani, stumbles on Glenore. However, her condition renders a meeting with Arian futile. Realizing Glenore was beyond reach, Arian finds scant comfort in the discovery of his children. Dutifully, he focuses on completing plans for the Feast of the Sephracals where the mighty of their world will assemble. Despite his internal turmoil, Arian the Magnificent, now General of the Hosts of Nehemia and Zennara, draws closer to Anika. When ancient curses finally abate, he rises beyond his predicament. Eventually, he embraces his long journey into light the only way he knows: Arian's way.

After triumphant return from Persidia, Arian sits in council with his monarchs and commanders to craft strategies for war against the elusive aggressor that continues to wreck innocent lives. He seeks help of other kingdoms and receives surprising responses. He then leads his forces to Kilani where they bivouac on Kalazar's estates. Meanwhile, the enemy strengthens their armies for outright onslaughts to wrest the crowns of Nehemia and Zennara. Once entrenched in Kilani, Arian, posing as an assassin for hire, embarks on a perilous journey leading to discovery of their plans. After a series of relentless offensives, final confrontation occurs in four battles where the toll of war leaves Arian smoldering, for he finds neither comfort nor triumph in death and desolation descending on friend and foe alike. However, the shadow of Glenore looms over his consciousness as recurrent reminder of his failure to find his love, but he remains true to himself and faces his responsibilities in one way: Arian's Way.

ARIAN'S WAY: TO THE SORROWS OF PERSIDIA BOOK I Thirteen years have elapsed since Parsifal and Shanara's triumphant return with the truth to the Kingdom of Nehemia. During that time, under the expert eye of the mighty Pasadaynian, their young brother Arian excels in his training in the ways of the warrior and is ready for initiation into the service of his kingdom as King's Champion. But a brooding evil seems to be assailing Nehemians and Zennarians. Sudden death, disappearance, and terror sweep down on them from every direction without provocation. Accordingly, Arian embarks on a search for the scourge whose trail leads him to Mykon and thence to Persidia where he joins forces with Zogan the Terrible. Arian launches a series of relentless campaigns in attempt to redeem the honor of his people as well as that of the Persidians. However, undercurrents are as swift as calm waters are treacherous in the Land of Eternal Mist. Victory leaves Arian somber and empty; and vengeance leaves his heart cold and sorrowful without Glenore-aye, Glenore of the Fearful Heart. And although he balks before the force of the squall of fate, he faces his future in the only way he knows: Arian's Way.

This volume comprises verses reflecting a wide range of human emotions and ex-periences, not necessarily the author's own. It attempts to grapple with forces impacting the lives of people here on earth by using images appealing to the senses in bringing these to the fore.
